If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!
I take the NCLEX tomorrow morning @ 8am. I specifically chose 8/8/08 @8am because 8's are part of my lucky number trio... I feel I am ready, have been doing Kaplan since June, just starting to feel the anxiety today, wasn't before but now my stomach hurts and not really hungry, any suggestions on what to eat the night before and the morning of the NCLEX.. I also have IBS - yay! ...lol

VENT!I planned on studying today but that isn't happening since I'm all shook up and worried as a result of a car accident that wasn't my fault. I was driving on a double lane road and on the left of it is a parking lot.... when a woman hit my car coming out of the parking lot as I was driving(I had the freakin right of way) and totaled my husband's car(which is his baby.) His whole front end, near the driver side tire is all messed up and I'm in big trouble with my husband. The driver who hit me's whole front end fell off. She tried saying that it was MY fault,
although the police at the scene told her that was impossible...there was NO way I COULD have hit her! I can't believe how bad people can lie especially when it's so obvious. My request to ya'll is if you could please pray that the truth is confirmed through her insurance company(that's where it's finalized) that it isn't my fault since I only have liability insurance so her insurance can repair the damage. Please pray that I'm not blamed for something I didn't do so I can have a clear mind to continue my studies.
THANNNK GOOOD that it was resolved today, the girl who hit me had the nerve to sent the photo of the accident to the woman(agent) who was handling the claim for HER to say, I can't even think of a way to say that SHE hit you...this was before the police report! I'm going to make a long story short and tell you that THANK GOD her insurance is paying for the damage(even though she said I HIT HER LOLLOL).
Now I can concentrate and get back to my life without his mouth terrorizing me.

Glad you got it sorted. I remember a accident I was in, my fault in a way as I aqua glided into back of a car causing it to go into the back of the one in front, police was called as well as ambulance (for me) thankfully no one else was injured but remember asking police how many cars was involved and his reply was 3 including mine and a 4th car tried to claim off my insurance Thankfully the police report backed me up but the cheek
For the girl who wrote the long email about the pressures from family, you know, I hope you can see who was there for you and who wasn't. Your email was very honest and it's how we all feel to some extent. One thing I've seen with my dad, who was a bricklayer, is that he really doesn't "understand" nursing school and academics in the university. But, geesh, do they think you weren't hard enough on yourself? Just to make it to graduation was an accomplishment.
So, you've passed. Your hard work paid off. But, now when you look at those same people who weren't supportive, I wonder if you won't be the one walking away (degree and license in hand).
Your email was touching and I'm so glad for you.
