Hello,

I am scheduled to take my boards next thursday! I took an exit hessi and passed it on the first try, but I don't feel like I am ready for boards. I have heard that if it does not get harder while taking it, that means you aren't doing good????

Wish me luck!

Maybe I will be able to put "RN" behind my name with the help of reading this thread :)

HI EVERYONE;

Prayer can move mountains. I do believe it. I have come across these prayers which i am using right now.

PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF GOOD STUDIES:

o MARY, Seat of Wisdom, so many persons of common intellect have made through your intercession admirable progress in their studies.

I hereby choose you as my guardian and patron of my studies.

I humbly ask you to obtain for me the grace of the Holy Spirit.

So that from now on, I could understand more quickly.

Retain more readily and express myself more fluently.

May the example of my life serve to honor you and YOur Son, Jesus. AMEN.

PRAYER FROM SAINT ANTHONY:

O light of the world, Infinite God, Father of Eternity, giver of wisdom and knowledge.

And ineffable dispenser of every spiritual grace.

Who makest the darkness and the light.

Stretch forth thy hand and place thy spirit oh Lord in my heart, that I may retain what I learn and meditate on

Do though lovingly, mercifully, and gently inspire me with thy grace.

Do though teach , guide, strengthen the thoughts of my mind and let they discipline instruct me to the end.

And the counsel of the MOst High help me, thru thy Infinite wisdom and mercy. AMEN.

AFTER STUDY:

Lord, pour out on me the spirit of understanding, truth and peace.

Help me to strive with all my heart to know what is pleasing to YOu.

And when I know your will, make me determined to do it

I ask this through Christ our lord. amen

I am hoping that these prayers will keep us on our feet as we struggle through NCLEX..

Thank you for sharing these prayers, here is a prayer for St Capertino.

This powerful prayer is very effective in examinations. It has to be said before appearing in the examination. There are two variants to this prayer. Both the prayers are equally effective. You can choose any one of these:-

First Prayer

O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which I am now preparing. In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

Through Christ our Lord.

St. Joseph of Cupertino, Pray for us.

Amen.

Second Prayer

O St. Joseph of Cupertino who by your prayer obtained from God to be asked at your examination, the only preposition you knew. Grant that I may like you succeed in the (here mention the name of Examination eg. History paper I ) examination.

In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

O St. Joseph of Cupertino pray for me

O Holy Ghost enlighten me

Our Lady of Good Studies pray for me

Sacred Head of Jesus, Seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me.

Hi,

I absolutely believed that prayers can move mountains. God created everything and he sees our suffering, at the same time he gave us power to fight the devil, by using prayers like yours, we can block anything that's preventing our success in life. Thank you for sharing.
