NCLEX Takers Support Thread

If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!

I am just wondering how many RN or LPN (hopefuls) waiting to take their nclex exam feels like I do? I have one month to go before my nclex exam and yes I am scared to death and cant hardly sleep. It feels like no matter how much I study it is just not enough. I know that with God and prayer in your life everything is possible. I scan the nclex threads everyday for encouragement from other who have passed. I shed a tear with those who did not pass. We are all going though the same challenging journey, but some of us are feeling alone because our support system does not understand what we are going though. I ask someone for advise or comment on a nclex thread from someone and it is met with silence. For me achieving my bsn degree in nursing in Dec 13 2010 was one of the hardest but greatest accomplishments.

These prayers and posts are such a comfort to me. I will boldly ask for all of your prayers, as I am taking the NCLEX-PN on Friday. I have studied so long and so hard yet still feel unprepared, particularly regarding all the signs and symptoms and the dizzying number of medications. Heart rate always seems to confuse me. I did well in nursing school. No one in my class could ever know how much anxiety I have over this test as I seemed so confident in school (if they only knew!) lol I confess to being a perfectionist and sometimes I think it is really holding me back. I am almost ready to cancel my test date again, but the depression I feel from not moving forward is taking its toll on me in a big way. The thought of cancelling brings huge relief, but once I cancelled the last time I only felt despair as others in my class (graduated over 6 months ago) are all testing, moving forward, and snagging the very few PN jobs out there in my community. God showed me a long time ago that nursing is where my gifts lie, but I need your prayers and God's strength to get over this mountain. Thank you so very much, my dear sisters and brothers in the Lord.

I too take the NCLEX RN exam on the 23rd and feel so nervous. I have studied the Exam Cram ,took a HESI review course (937 score) and have also used Davis Comprehensive Review CD as well as made notes on all the "need 2 know" labs, antedotes, and things. Please say a prayer for me as tomorrow will be a day of rest and prayer. Best wishes to all who are scheduled to take the NCLEX this month !:)

I always believe that prayers are very powerfull,.i am planning to re-take my exam again,.Do anyone know if kaplan will help you a lot on passing the exam,.pls let me know so i can enroll right away,.God bless us all,. :)

I am a true believer in Exam Cram...I used it for my PN Nclex and also just a few weeks ago for RN NCLEX and passed them both on first try. I also saw several questions on NCLEX that were very similar to those on Exam Cram. Best Wishes to you. :nurse:

Took the NCLEX-RN yesterday....can't do the PVT because my results are on hold! I am hoping they aren't on hold as long as some people's have been. Looking for prayers and good thoughts!!!

Please keep me in your prayers as I take it next Wednesday! I am so thankful for where the Lord has brought me! I have continually seen him allow things to fall in place! I see so much self doubt on these threads keep your heads up and have confidence in yourselves. If you go into the test thinking you aren't ready and self doubting yourself you are going to do that the whole test and give yourself a struggling chance. When you are self doubting and anxious stop close your eyes and pray that God give you the confidence you need and trust in that!

Did you get your results yet? Mine also are on hold and its only been like thirty hours and I am freaking out!
