To all taking the nclex, I hope that you are successful and I will say a prayer. I know how stressful it is, and hope that you are able to keep a positive outlook. Just remember, study hard, and study smart. Think about what you need to know when caring for your patient.

I am so happy to see this thread still going strong!! I don't get a chance to visit the site much, but I remember what a life line this thread was to me while I was waiting to take NCLEX. I'd like to offer a prayer for those of you who will be testing soon. Here goes.

Dear Good and Loving Father, I praise you and lift your name above all others. I ask for your forgiveness, and I thank you for your graciousness. I thank you endlessly for this thread and how you have grown it, and for the support it offers so many. Father bless each one who will be testing this week and the coming weeks. I pray that you will open their minds and hearts as they study. Help each one of them to know exactly where to focus their efforts as they study. Reveal to them the areas where they are weak, and give them victory in those areas. Give each test taker the peace that transcends all understanding. Father, for those who are waiting results, I ask for you to give them a measure of peace that they have never experienced. For those who have tested more than once, I ask for mercy. Father there are many postings on this thread by those who have asked for prayer and have not passed. I leave that at your feet, and pray that you will comfort them and use these difficult times to reveal yourself to them in ways the have never known. I thank you for hearing my heart, and for the blessings you will pour down upon my brothers and sisters. In the Name of Christ, I pray, Amen.

Amen...thanks for offering this prayer. I had goose bumps while reading your posts, because I am one of those

who will be re-taking the exam this coming 3/23 for the 4th time. I have been really preparing since the last time I took one last December. It's been three months since then, and I have praying everyday that the Lord will see how hard I am trying to study and hoping that he will guide me to stay more focus on that day and grant my wish to do well and pass. I am trying to stay positive as much as I can. So far with my taking notes, anwering q's everyday, memorizing my labs- my results are much much better (now 70's -80's), compared to before, I had a hard time reaching this %'s. I hope that this will help motivate me to pass, comes 3/23. So, thank you very much for this prayer. I will remember this posts when that day comes. Keep you updated.:heartbeat:saint:

That is some good encouragement. I took boards 3x and failed. After I got my results 3/12/09 I was like Lord why am I having to retest all the time. I started thinking real negative and depressed. But when I went to church today I prayed and got prayed for. I am believing cause he hasn't brought any of us this far to leave us. Also thank you Rachael9907 for the encouragement also. I'm armed with Christ and faith and he will make a way. God bless you all and thank God for sites like this so you can talk to others that been in your shoes.

I'm with you in prayers that one day (hopefully soon) we'll get thru this big challenge of our life. God has his reasons on why we have to go thru this. I've gone thru a lot of up & downs of my life and thus including this one.

From other people that had posted their stories, some had done (if I'm not mistaken) up to @ least 5-6 tries before passing the NCLEX, so I'm not giving up just yet 'coz I know that God will not let me down for I know that

I would've not graudated from nursing school if it wasn't for him. So hang in there....keep your faith that one day

we'll get up there. So prepare yourself well for the next exam. If you start to use Saunders, try to take some notes using index cards. know your lab values, and basic/common meds...But for now..give yourself a break..spend some quality time with family and when you think you're ready to open up your textbooks again

take a deep breather..focus..& always pray...

Hallow my friend in Christ I have devastated news that I didn't make it and am so disappoint, discourage and am going through depression right now my faith dropped from % to 0 I don't know what to do now am just goanna give up good luck you all Nursing is not for me. Am tired crying.I am such a failure . Ask and shall given, this promises didn't work for me am not God's favor so thanks every one of you for your prayer but sorry didn't work for me.

Hello everyone This Thursday I will be taking the NCLEXRN for the 4th time. Please keep me in your prayers. I have been very difficult for myself as well as my family these past several months.
