any nclex takers in october-share study tips

hi everyone

i m taking the exam in oct. oct first week to be exact. anyone taking in oct can share their tips and study plans. lets support each other

At this point I really don't know what to think, except that I need to stop thinking about it!! Driving myself crazy going over questions and whether I got them right or wrong. The hard part is not really knowing which questions are considered the higher level. As far as I understand - that is the key to passing. Everyone gets 50% right and 50% wrong - it is the level that you reach that matters.

Good luck for those passing results. Don't think sleep is in my future until I know one way or the other!!

I too dont' think sleep will come easy tonight and I have to work tomorrow and thurs... im so afraid that the results will come in badly and I can just see my ADN coming towards with a slip of paper saying I can't work here anymore and wonder if they will send me home midshift and who will take my patients... *sigh*.... the unknown is scary.

Its hard to sleep too. I have to attend 2 day trauma/critical care course tomorrow at usc. and like 1 hour travel from my place. Oh well..its already done...guess just need to divert our attention to something else..lovendove...magnolia...you're in my prayers too...good luck and God bless to us..

Lovendove I really cried! I mean Its the hardest exam so far in my life as of the moment! And I really really don't want to retake it again and undergo the grueling process again. At 150 and its 2 hours im getting really really tired and hungry too because I haven't eaten..then comes 200..i just like asking the pc "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO STOP?" And im really ready for it to stop at 265 but it didn't. The scary thing is I feel at the beginning and the middle its really getting hard..then near end I feel its getting easy... then it STOP! So I really had a bad feeling about that... I haven't sleep last night. I tried to about 11 pm then wake up at 2:30 am then 3 am i guess then 4 am . Im just stressed out. And I thank you guys for letting me share my feelings about it. Let's hope and pray for now....

Well, I'm back from taking my NCLEX. It honestly wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. I only had 2 SATA, no math, lots of prioity type questions, and tons of multiple choice. It stopped at 75 questions so here's praying I passed :-) I'm stilled juiced up from the exam and can't go to bed...its 1047am here in KY. I wasn't able to sleep at all last night and believe me I tried. The alarm went off at 6am and I was like "oh well, surely people have passed with no sleep". Once I relax and wind down enough to get some sleep I'll feel better. I actually feel good about this test. Keeping fingers, toes, and eyes crossed. Ok maybe not the eyes, but you get the point LOL.

Congrats to all that have passed. Just got home an hour ago from the hell hole not sure how it went. I had no math ?'s, 3 drag and drop, 3 SATA, no hot spots shut off at 110 which is a strange number and it makes me worry and 15 don't count so I answered 95 that counted. I wish I could find out right now. Ne opinions on my weird number of questions? I know it has no bearing but I need a piece of mind! Ughghgh I need a beer!

Hi! Just take some time out and think of something else other than the result now. Go get some beer, you deserve a good break. Best of luck to all of us waiting for the result. Waiting is just as nerve wrecking like the exam itself.
