hi everyone
i m taking the exam in oct. oct first week to be exact. anyone taking in oct can share their tips and study plans. lets support each other
I am taking mine tomorrow at 12:15 and feeling very nervous. Did not train here so not feeling like that 85% pass rate is on my side! Although English is my first language nursing is different here. Just hope I am prepared enough, having done every practice question from every resource I could find: Kaplan, Exam Cram, NCSBN, Saunders, Lippincott and Prioritization and Delegation Book.
magnolia60....lovendove...and me goodluck to us tomorrow god bless everyone:hrnsmlys:need:beer:anyone? :stone ok only positive..positive ..positive thoughts:p the positive thing is we can :onbch:soon. i hope! while waiting for the result:banghead: ok back to being positive. goal is to be
Richo! I wanted to wish you goodluck before you left:( Sorry I missed you and I'm sending tons of positive thoughts and prayers.
I'm back guys.... *big sigh*. I got a TON of SATA and a TON of medication questions, TON of which precaution do you use with which disease process (contact, respiratory, isolation) and they were tough, I mean really precise down to what and all the answers were right but had one thing missing. and a TON of priority
UGH. I got a few of the first ones wrong but towards the end, around 30 or so questions in I started to find my groove. I found a lot of kaplan rationals/questions during the exam!
It stopped at 75 and the last few were priority, I felt pretty good about those but the words are so tricky... the last question came down to abc's and one with a bleed and two with airway so it was tough deciding because they were all critical so I hope I picked the right one.
I mean, if I was doing that badly, they would have let me keep going right?! I don't think I did well enough for it to turn off at 75 nor do I feel that I did bad enough for it to turn off at 75 either.
so who knows; only god. And I give him all the glory in all things and trust that whatever happens is part of his plan and that it is for a reason.
I still have tons of time on my kaplan material so I can go over more and prepare, memorize some more meds etc.
And so the waiting begins.
