hi everyone
i m taking the exam in oct. oct first week to be exact. anyone taking in oct can share their tips and study plans. lets support each other
I didn't think my results would be in yet as I took my test Friday morning but thought I would give the Pearson site a try. I'm still shaking and crying....I PASSED. After over 2 years of travelling back and forth from British Columbia to North Carolina I can now get my TN Visa and have a life with my partner. I'm in shock!. I arrived back in Canada yesterday after taking a 3 month leave of absence to study - today it's back to work - at a community mental health centre that I love being at and will hate to leave but....I guess love conquers all, even at my age. Thank you SO much for this board and your encouraging words. Good luck to all of you - if I can do it after graduating so many years ago I know you can to. Nursing has been an incredibly rewarding experience these past 25 years, I'm so happy I'm able to continue on another part of my journey now. HUGSSSS to all of you. Sharon
Congrats, apply for your VSC now as it can take approx 4 weeks to get. Some threads in the International forum discuss what requirements you need for TN
Just wanted to send out a big thanks to all who supported, as well as those continuing to support the remainging October test takers. I was initially planning to take the test on the 21st, but due to a family member's recent hospitalization, I've decide to push back my test so that I can help that person recover. Unfortunately, the nearest test date is in early november. I feel frustrated because I've prepared fairly well for this coming test, yet only to have to reschedule it yet again for the umpteenth time. With so much going on, its so hard to get back into the study mode. My hope and prayers are with the remaining individuals taking their exams soon. I know you all will do fine. Just be confident and trust your instincts and intellect. For all those who have passed so far...:ancong!:
Thanks once again to all of you guys! Keep supporting each no matter what! We'll all become NURSES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much! Mikhy and I "met" here on the board and were exchanging questions and answers before the test. It is so amazing to me to be able to share thoughts and feelings with nurses all over the world.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you waiting for results and writing the exam.
BE POSITIVE!!
goodluck to all test takers...the type of question doesn't determine difficulty..it's all myth..i passed the exam and have known my result this day noon..my exam stopped at 222 without a single sata nor calculation and it made me paranoid i thought i really failed..and my instructor said the trend in nclex is this month is more one prioritization which is true coz i had lots of it and meds as well...good luck to all and god bless :)
I just got back from my test. I got 75 questions (3 SATA, no calc) -- lots of meds, lots of prioritization and infection control (like everyone has been saying). I'm so nervous. When it ended after 75 questions, the first thing I thought was, "No! Wait! Give me a chance to prove I can pass!" Now I just have to wait, wait, wait.... Good luck to everyone else who is taking the test today!

That's exactly how I felt. I was shocked when it shut off at 75. My initial reaction was to panic because I was sure I failed and bombed it so badly. I took mine last Thursday and am still waiting for my results. I'll keep you in my prayers!
