I consider myself as an average student. I have been doing questions from UWorld and so far I have done 900 questions (75 questions in each tutor). They are tough questions but the rationale are very great. I have a little less than 2 months until I do NCLEX. I will take Hurst live review a month from now. My plan is to finish 1800 Uworld till the Hurst review and read some other review books and notes I took from Uworld rationales. I did Hesi last week and scored 845. To prepare for Hesi, i just did the questions and a very little skim reading. Is there any one who did Uworld who can share me what their experience was? What do you think my score on Uworld is? any body who already passed or who is studying right now for NCLEX can share me their experience. Sorry for my English. Thank you.

Good afternoon. Your thread has been moved to our NCLEX Discussion forum to accrue more responses. We wish you the very best of luck when taking the test.

Hi! I am currently studying for NCLEX RN as well, like you I've been using UWorld for almost a month now with 300 Qs left in my bank. Most people will tell you to not focus on your percentage/scores but I somehow disagree with that. These scores are important to evaluate if your consistently improving or not. I feel devastated if my scores went down from my previous ones and that would challenge me to study harder and be consistent. Make sure that your scores are above average or near average because I think that's the goal of every Qbanks, you need to hit a specific target for you to know if your doing well or not. When I do questions (75qs/day), I would put it in Time-mode. I noticed tutor-mode doesn't work for me because I am eager to know the answer which makes me more careless and not reading the questions and answers properly. I personally think it's a good thing because the real NCLEX exam doesn't work like tutor-mode and that will help you to be more oriented and get used to that kind of atmosphere. Well, that's me, it might not work for you, you know yourself better. I also rationalize every after my 75qs and read it, some I would try to memorize such as S/Ss, A/Es. I can't do more than that. If my brain is tired then I don't force it to work, it's just the way I study. I have a week and a half before my big day! Well, best of luck to both of us and we can do this!

What i like about Uworld is rationale. I am taking the notes from the questions i didn't get them right. Thank you for sharing and good luck on your exam!

thanks! good luck to you as well

don't focus too much on the % , just learn the rationales. I never got beyond 60% cause the questions were extremely hard, and that was a one time luck. my scores looked similar to Emias's.

I failed the NCLEX last week. I've heard good things about Uworld. I read the Kaplan NCLEX PN guide and NCLEX Mastery app on my phone.... still failed. I studied for 3 weeks. I have to wait 45 days to re-take, which I think I will spend the time studying with Uworld.
