ok I have trouble taking any test in general but, I was wondering if anyone could help me more with the nclex style questions?? those are the only type of questions we have on our tests.... I always struggle to pass the exams even when I feel that I know the information.... at this point i'm just desperate.....

Try buying an NCLEX prep book with the rationales. This really helped me, I used the Saunders book. I've even seen some of the questions from NCLEX books show up practically verbatim on exams. I don't know if your school uses ATI, but they have a "Nurse Logic" course that we were actually required to compete. It's a little lengthy, but it really helps you to start thinking like a nurse. After you take enough exams you start to see the same things over again - or at least you think you do! If it's a nutrition question, you can bet "dark, leafy vegetables" is the correct answer.

Umm..if you are in nursing school its kind of a no-brainer that the questions on the exams are going to be like the NCLEX-RN. I mean, you ARE going to nursing school to learn and PASS the NCLEX right?
Anyway from what I read from this site, a lot of people have bought a nclex-rn review book in order to guide their learning in nursing school. One popular NCLEX-RNreview book is
Saunders Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN, 4th edition
Buy the book and Practice answering NCLEX-RN questions for the subject content you are studying while you study the content and you should be good to go for every nursing school exam you take.

two tips:
figure out what the question wants you to do. assess or intervene?
if there are two opposite answers, often(NOT ALWAYS), the answer will not be one of those.

get a review book now and study for each course from that (i.e. do practice questions). I loved Saunders when I was in school.
