So my test is near and I've completed the Hurst Review I still need to go over Pediatrics once more before my test. I've been using Lacharity as well as Lippincott Q&A's. On the Hurst qbanks my scores have been 78, 81, 69, 86, 94 all out of 125 questions. (idk what happened on the test where I got a 69 lol but I reviewed over all the rationales).
On LaCharity I need three more chapters to finish which I'm planning on doing them tomorrow but my scores have been:

by the way I LOVE the LaCharity PDA book! Thanks to this site I was able to find out about it. I didn't do the test in order but my scores did improve as I took more test.
Finally in Lippincott I want to finish at least 3-4 of the comprehensive Test on the back. I've done the chapter test in the middle (not all its too much) but most of med surg and I've ranged between 70-85%. I also did a maternity exam ang got a 72%
Oh and I forgot I sometimes use the ATI app I bought for $20 and I'll do questions when I'm out of the house. Saunders I stopped using it was too overwhelming and many people have said the questions are not anything near the nclex.
I'm going to keep practicing questions until I take my test and hope for the best. For those who took the test NCLEX RN how where your scores and did you pass the BEAST! lol
WOW You two sound like you've got your stuff together. You sound pretty prepared. I practiced with NCLEX 4000 and I also did 3-4 hrs M-F and took weekends off! That's a really good strategy, you need to have some time to breath and unwind. Umm I got 78-85 averages on my tests before I took the boards. Your averages looked pretty good. Its true there's usually something that comes up that makes you go *** but generally a good study regimen prepares you overall.
I hope so. I graduated from a school in Puerto Rico which did not prepare me well enough for the NCLEX. I've had to read my books and teach myself how to analyze the questions.

I'm student at "sagrado" is a good university and NOW with the new LAT is awesome, sometimes I feel when I'm studying for some classes that I can't make the N_clex because my english is not so good but I try to study everything in english buy my book in english also, because I have faith that i will do it. Hello 3ponceboy! Thank you :) . Sagrado corazon in Puerto Rico? I graduated from UMETs bilingual program in Bayamon. My advice is to start practicing nclex style questions. If you can buy lippincott q&a nclex rn book. Its has about 5800 questions. Since you're in med surg one you can do the test by subject in the middle like cardio, GI and so on. Where in the US would you like to work?
Ugh I'm so upset!!!!! so I went to take my test today and I couldn't because my name on my ID and the ATT did not match. I know I know it said it but when I signed up for the test I just put one of my last names and not my second. I was born in Puerto Rico and they use both your dads and moms last name. Well I was raised in FL all of my life so I almost NEVER used my moms last name. I just really didnt even notice. UNTIL i went to the testing center and they said I couldn't take it. I'm so upset. Lost $200. Ugh I felt so ready. Everything happens for a reason right? Thats what everyone keeps telling me and what I tell myself from bursting into tears. I'm so upset with myself.

Thank you. I'm trying to compose myself because I haven't failed but it sucks lol. It's very minor and I wish I would of realized it earlier so I could change it but I was blind. It's fixable, I just have to call tomorrow. It's funny because of I'm not mistaken I did apple to the WI BON with my two last names and only one appears. I had to call in because they had my first and my mothers maiden name on the site. So they then changed it to my dads last name. Now I have to tell them to put them BOTH lol.
Oh geez least you made me check mine. I noticed my ATT address is different from my ID but don't think that matters. Also my att has my full middle name and my ID just has the first initial. I already did a google and saw both would be fine haha but almost has an attack there! Well least it gives you some time even though I think you're just ready!!
YEs, Puerto Rico, I want to go to Charllotte NC because is my father live there but my housemate is med student from texas and He said that i will have lot opportunities there.
