NCLEX soon!!!!!!!

So my test is near and I've completed the Hurst Review I still need to go over Pediatrics once more before my test. I've been using Lacharity as well as Lippincott Q&A's. On the Hurst qbanks my scores have been 78, 81, 69, 86, 94 all out of 125 questions. (idk what happened on the test where I got a 69 lol but I reviewed over all the rationales).

On LaCharity I need three more chapters to finish which I'm planning on doing them tomorrow but my scores have been:

Ch1. 62%

Ch2. 74%

Ch3. 86%

Ch4. 66%

Ch5. 69%

Ch6. 74%

Ch7. 61%

Ch8. 78%

Ch9. 78%

Ch10. 61%

Ch11. 72%

Ch12. 50%

Ch13. 90%

Ch14. Not done

Ch15. 80%

Ch16. Not done

Ch17. 84%

Ch18. Not done

by the way I LOVE the LaCharity PDA book! Thanks to this site I was able to find out about it. I didn't do the test in order but my scores did improve as I took more test.

Finally in Lippincott I want to finish at least 3-4 of the comprehensive Test on the back. I've done the chapter test in the middle (not all its too much) but most of med surg and I've ranged between 70-85%. I also did a maternity exam ang got a 72%

Oh and I forgot I sometimes use the ATI app I bought for $20 and I'll do questions when I'm out of the house. Saunders I stopped using it was too overwhelming and many people have said the questions are not anything near the nclex.

I'm going to keep practicing questions until I take my test and hope for the best. For those who took the test NCLEX RN how where your scores and did you pass the BEAST! lol

Just so you won't feel like noone's listening, I would like to say hi and good luck! Oh, and I only used the Kaplan's Strategies, Practices, and Review. In and out of NCLEX-RN one time. Know your rationales, they 'why' of your chosen answer as opposed to those not chosen!

Thank you! I used the kaplan strategies book. As i did the questions i would kick myself in the butt sometimes for not going for my first choice. Overall good book. I'm now finishing up the pda book.

I would like to say Hi! As well! You look like you are more then prepared! I wish I had your scores!

By the way I was thinking of stop looking at the saunders as well and doing Lippincott's it does seem like a lot. Have you tried their cd for questions?

Hello! :) I'm prepared as i'll ever be my brain is dead lol. Saunders was too much I probably went over a few chapters when I decided I didn't like it. I barely use the cd because i'll then stop doing questions and get on youtube lol so I do the book questions . It has over 5,800 questions with like 6 comprehensive test on the back. Plus many ppl have.stated that the saunders questions are too easy for nclex so I just stopped using it.

The lippincott book has the 5800 questions i forgot to put that in so it won't confuse you with saunders

Oh wow nice so how soon do you go? I go in 2 weeks and some days but I feel overwhelmed already. I was stuck with the virtual ati since the school paid for it but every review book is written differently. How many hours do you put down a day?

I go in less than a week. I try to out in 3-4hrs a day Monday-Friday I take weekends off because I feel its important to relax and have some fun to reduce the stress a little. I have the ATI app, I like it. I was going to buy the assessment package with just questions but I had already paid for Hurst and a lot of books so I didn't want to spend money I don't have right now lol. Are you using any other books?

I think if I would of had the money and more timeI would of done Hurst. I've heard good things about them! Right now I was jumping between books but I was looking at Saunders 5th, Lippincott, LaCharity and I read Kaplan's book earlier in the month.

I've come to realize no one book in particular can REALLY prepare you for NCLEX. I mean you can review content and do questions but you'll never know what the test will ask you. It's good to alternate questions between books that way you get to answer different styles.
