I've taken the RN exam a couple times.. the first time I didn't study, just took it.. obviously, i failed!!
the second time i applied myself a bit more.. did questions here and there.. again, failed.
the third time i hardly applied myself.. i went into it with the attitude that.. i studied last time and it didn't seem to help.. screw it!! again, i failed. i should add that i was newly engaged, recently graduated, started a new job, and was in a town three hours away from family..
i took the test again on saturday.. this time i applied myself. i read the whole nclex-rn made incredibly easy.. i bought a kaplan book, read and answered the questions.. i did tons of questions every day!! i feel that i did everything i could!!
i got 265 questions.. i know no one can tell me if i passed or failed i just need some encouragement.. it's so confusing to me how they let you go to 265 and you can still fail?? why wouldn't they cut you off before.. does the last question make the difference?? i was so tired by 265 i don't even remember if it was "hard" or "easy"..
i should find out tomorrow morning or tuesday am..
any advice?

I took the NCLEX-RN on Saturday. I also got all 265 questions and it seemed really hard to me, especially toward the end. I have read about a lot of people passing with 265 questions. I know how nervous you feel. It seems to me like they shouldn't make you sit there with all those questions for that long if you didn't pass! Good Luck!
