NCLEX RN

Published

Hey guys!!

I just took the NCLEX RN Saturday. OMG it was the hardest test ever (my opinion). I was not confident after I left the testing site. I had ALL 145 questions and that survey thing at the end. ? I felt like crying. The past 2 days I have been stressed. I did the PVT trick and got the good pop up. I was still nervous. Well 48 hours has passed and I finally checked my quick results. I PASSED!! OMG that was a huge relief!!

Info: I finished school May 7. I started using UWorld that day. I did 75 questions a day. I did practice questions for 3 weeks on and off and took my test May 29.

Congrats on passing! I was just wondering, is there any delay in applying to take the NCLEX right now? I heard there might be because of COVID but I wasn't sure.

There is not a delay at all and there are plenty open dates to schedule once receiving ATT.

Hi! I just took my exam and I am getting really anxious. They say if you get SATAs and prioritization questions those are high level questions. I don’t know. I think I had some of those but I can’t really remember that much. Most questions I recall are about “what statement by the patient/LPN require immediate attention” or “what statement by the patient/LPN indicates understanding” something like that. My exam shut off at 75. Either I did great or I really messed up.

Girl same! Mine turned out OK and your’s probably will too!

It's important to remember that a certain number of questions in every such exam don't count because they are included to test them for future versions of the test. If a lot of people get them wrong (or too many get them right) they get pulled out of the rotation. This is also on reason that people take different versions of the test; it's not by state or some other reason, it's because the bank of test questions is huge and there are always items being tested for inclusion next time.

So if you have a question that seems completely impossible or otherwise crazy-making, just do the best you can on it and move along to the next one. It might be one of those.

What have you been using so far?

I m using Kaplan Q Bank now.mark blue book and Saunders .

I took my NCLEX yesterday and felt so stupid. I graduated with high honors, passed predictor exams with 97% passing chance, UWorld with a 70 on my exam which was an extremely high chance of passing.

BUT-that exam made me feel like I knew nothing, and it is really bothering me. I did the PVT and got the good pop up (three times), had 75 questions, but...this is the thing. If I passed only being confident of 5 of my answers-how can anyone fail? It makes me feel like this exam is wacky and I hate that we have to pay to see our quick results. Feels so odd to pay for something you already paid 200.00 for ?

Im trying to be patient,  it man it’s tough. Hoping RN will be behind my name soon!

Same! I don't know what state you are in, but for me. I took the test 6/8 @ 1pm and on 6/10 when I woke up at 6am the Texas BON web site already showed my license active. The "quick results" didn't become available until 12pm that day.  So I know it sounds stupid, but I wanted to see the quick results say pass too, so I paid the $7. ?
