Did you get your result you don't know for sure.
I just found out right now that I FAILED. Just as I was expecting. This morning also that I found out too that they've updated the test plan effective April 2016 to March 2019. I didn't know! So I got my ATT 2 years ago (2014) and never took the test and the test plan I looked into was the previous one. I know it's weird that I took NCLEX-PN (california) first vs the NCLEX-RN (Hawaii) this is because I have no intention of working and living in Hawaii.
I really appreciate all the people responding to this thread. May God Bless you all. By the way, I didn't study today because it's my daughter's birthday party.
Hey raman love sorry to hear, just do what i told you and you wont loose. Use UWORLD and PDA by lacharity, i believe you can do this! they updated the test plan and added more relegious and culture stuff, nothing major.
That's okay. I usually don't get problem like this before but it's my work that's stressing me a lot. I drive for work going patient to patient every weekdays and this is 120 miles drive for a day. I submitted my resignation letter and ready to move on.
so is that what it is for the new test plan? I don't remember getting a religious question from my last test, it was all pharmacology. About 4-7 SATA, little prioritization, 1 drug computation. It could've been the easiest NCLEX-RN if my foundation in pharma is strong.

Its good to know you moved on from that situation. As is pertains to the test plan i heard anecdotally on here that they added more cultural items. I reviewed the new test plan from NCSBN page and i couldn't see the difference in the new test plan. There isnt a change in percentages, the passing line wasn't moved, i heard however that they just added more cultural items. I wouldnt ponder this too much though to be honest.

I will definitely look into it as soon as I start reviewing again. There's just too much going on right now. My family is moving to Austin Texas next month and I'm excited about it, I can't wait to leave California. I'm too tired of the rat race in this place.. I appreciate the place though. It will be as to leave friends and families.

Definitely do what you must to get your mind in the right place. when you're ready to review again just take things at your own pace, compartmentalize everything you need to cover and move forward from there.
Wish you all the best and keep us updated :)
Wait for the results because until you know for sure, there's still a chance. Especially in 75 questions! But if you didnt pass, i want to share with you how i studied my second time and finally passed. The first time around i used kaplan and hurst live review. I found that both were very helpful but hurst live review was not enough for content (which i really needed to study more on). So the second time around i added LaCharity for prioritization and Saunders for more content---although i only read the Adult Med-Surg portion. If you have the time, i suggest you go through the whole book. After doing Saunders i did kaplan's question trainers 4-7 and noticed that my scores jumped about 10% more from the first time i took them and i felt more confident in answering the questions.
I also came across this link from ATI testing that REALLY helped me in understanding the way NCLEX questions are made and how to choose the best answer
http://www.atitesting.com/virtual_ati_documents/NCLEX_TIPS_2010_Final.pdf
Take a break and give yourself time to relax. I think that being more relaxed the second time around helped me perform better. If you I can do it, I believe you can too! Good luck!
If you don't mind me asking, what were your scores on kaplans Qbank and Qtrainers? Thanks
My husband just took nclex on 7/16 he graduated on 5/15. He waited a long time because he was really stressed out after nursing school and wanted to de stress. But months turned into year overnight. He felt like he was forgetting everything and finally started studying for boards he used the ATI VATI program, and exclusively Saunders in last two weeks. He finished in 75 questions got 7 SATA, 6 basic EKGs, cardiac, but overall he said it was much easier than any test from nursing school. Mostly concerned with safety and prioritzation. Know your fundamentals. In fact as a nurse who also took nclex too. I say just take it right away before ur knowledge slips just do some practice questions and go for it. Also pray as much as you can I truly believe more than ANYTHING else that's what made him pass. He got the good pop up after the test we did it like 25 minutes after the test. FYI At the credit card portion we put in all the right info but a wrong expiration date so we wouldn't be charged. Today we got the quick results it's official he passed!!!!
