  1. No sadly I didn’t get an email about an interview either
  2. I received an email yesterday that they have made a decision on my application and unfortunately I wasn’t chosen. This was for the AGACNP program.
  3. I have an interview on the 20th as well. I'm not sure what to expect & just like you all I'm not sure what unit it's gonna be for... But I'll keep you guys posted if anything! :)
  4. i interviewed in December for a med-surg position, I'm not sure how it will compare for L&D but basically it was a one on one interview with the nurse manager and she had a list of about 10-15 behavioral questions which were the typical "tell me of a time when you had conflict with a coworker" or "how do you deal with the needs of patients that are non verbal" "tell me a time when you failed"...those are the only ones I remember. I had one situation question where she gave me a patient's vitals, his situation & she asked me what was my next action. Unfortunately I wasn't offered a position but I hope this helps! Good luck on your interview!
  5. Hi i have an interview next friday! they said it would be a group interview but other than that i really dont know anything about it. If anyone can share tips i would appreciate it!
  6. Q4: 64.7 Q5: 62.7 Q6: 56.5 Q7: 60.0 I believe i only had about 300 questions left on qbank and averaged about 55%. Good luck!
  7. Wait for the results because until you know for sure, there's still a chance. Especially in 75 questions! But if you didnt pass, i want to share with you how i studied my second time and finally passed. The first time around i used kaplan and hurst live review. I found that both were very helpful but hurst live review was not enough for content (which i really needed to study more on). So the second time around i added LaCharity for prioritization and Saunders for more content---although i only read the Adult Med-Surg portion. If you have the time, i suggest you go through the whole book. After doing Saunders i did kaplan's question trainers 4-7 and noticed that my scores jumped about 10% more from the first time i took them and i felt more confident in answering the questions. I also came across this link from ATI testing that REALLY helped me in understanding the way NCLEX questions are made and how to choose the best answer http://www.atitesting.com/virtual_ati_documents/NCLEX_TIPS_2010_Final.pdf Take a break and give yourself time to relax. I think that being more relaxed the second time around helped me perform better. If you I can do it, I believe you can too! Good luck!
