I took the NCLEX yesterday at 2:30 PM. I am a nervous wreck. The computer shut off at 75 questions. I got 12 select all that apply and I did not get any dosage calc. Most of my questions were prioritizing and education. What does this mean?:uhoh21:

It means you have to wait till tomorrow to find out on Pearson Vue quick results, or check your states web site, some are up that same day.
To put your mind at ease mine too shut off at 75 questions, I had 3 math but I think they were all mg/kg/dose and I think only one SATA or maybe 2. I had zero OB or new born infant questions. I had what I thought were a ton of education and who would you see 1st questions.
I passed. I would like to know the % of people that pass with 75 vs fail. Is that documented anywhere?? I only know people who have passed at 75. But I have read here on this board of a few who have not with 75.
Anyways---it is a nice day, go for a walk, enjoy the sunshine and tomorrow smile when you know it is all over!!!
Good Luck!!

Hey! Took the nclex-rn today (May 24, 2008) and I am freaking out as well. I graduated with honors and with the diagnostic tests through ATI, I have a 96% chance of passing the 1st time. I was able to narrow the questions down to two possible answers and made my best educated guess b/t the two! The test cut off at 75 questions and I have heard the rumors "Oh, you definitely passed" but until I seem my name with those two little letters after it, I will not celebrate. This may sound "stupid" but I honestly feel it could go either way - I guessed alot!!! There is only one thing that I am positive about this mornings test - I seriously feel it went 50/50. Not to toot my own horn but I excelled in school but found the test difficult not only because of the anxiety created by one test riding on your future, but because of the difficulty of the exam itself.
P.S. - Any misspellings due to alcholic beverages needed until exam results are posted!!!!:bluecry1::yawn::bowingpur:nurse::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Hello everyone.. I found out yesterday while I was at work that I Passed.... I am so happy. Pearson vue posted my results yesterday. I have never experienced that type of anxiety before. I feel a great deal of relief. I will though, give those of you that have not taken the exam some advise.. Please.. Please.. do not let the NCLEX defeat you or make you feel defeated while you are taking it.. Use your best judgement.. those critical thinking skills have been developing throughout your nursing program and you will need to put those skills to work on this test. Good luck everyone and thank you for your encouragement!
