Hello Everyone,
I must admit, the NCLEX was somewhat of a bear. My computer stopped at 90. I really was upset because I thought I should kept going. Well, I am sitting here anxious. So what do you all think, 90? Isn't that an odd number to stop on?
Thanks!

I was wondering if any of you were back yet. I got finished at 10:15, took me aobut an hour and a half. I got 75. I am not sure how I feel about it. I felt like a lot of it was just using my best judgement. I had a lot of priority and a few select all that apply. I had no calculations. I sure wish we could fast forward two days!
I really had alot of priority questions. 3 drug drugs and a few select all that apply. I really dont know what to think other than God is still in control.
Very true! I could not believe the number of who would you see first questions. I also agree with the other posts that i have seen about really knowing infection control. I had a lot of those. So, what are you doing to keep yourself busy over the next 48 hours?

You can't tell anything regarding pass/fail strictly based on the number of questions. Try to watch a good movie or two, sit down for a (non-nursing) read, or do something outside the house to keep your mind off the NCLEX.
No matter what you do, resist the urge to go back and look up questions from your NCLEX. This has caused many students a great deal of anxiety and it's completely unnecessary. You can't change any answers now, so try to relax and remember that both passers and failers tend to get around 50% right and 50% wrong. Best of luck on your results.

Well, I was starting to do Exactly that (looking up questions) and was starting to get anxious. I am not looking up anymore! I do not want to be miserable for the next two days. What is done is done! Either way, I know I will be a nurse!

I took the test 2 years ago and my stopped on 75 questions. I was done in 1/2 hour. I was so scared I didn't pass but I did and was so relieved. Don't let the number scare you. It analyzes how you are doing as you go.

I just got back from NCLEX. I am not sure what to think, at first I was like "I am going to turn off at 75...I know this stuff...this isn't as bad as I thought" But now I am wondering if maybe I just bombed the whole thing, second guessing on alot of questions. Got a few infection control, lots of priority, can't remember any delegation though (bad sign?) but all in all it took me 2 hours to do 75 questions. All my prayers were answered because I did have a sense of calm over me which I prayed so hard for!
Now is the hard part we have heard so much about...

Yep, I must admit, I am really struggling. I keep thinking maybe I did not take enough time to look through the answers. I did not have any delegation either. I HATE the waiting! It is truly torture!

Took mine yesterday, also had a lot of priorty and infection control questions and a few meds. Not alot of knowledge based questions which I hear is a good sign. When I took kaplan they said that NCLEX is looking to see if faced with a decision you would be able to pick the priorty. So maybe since we got alot of priorty questions we did well?

I know what you mean, mine shut off at 80 questions on Monday morning but I found out today that I passed! Hang tough! It seemed like the only questions I could remember were the ones I missed. It's best if you wait for the smoke to clear, easier said than done, but you will prevail!

I took mine a few days ago. Mine shut off at 75. I felt similar to the way some of you do. I felt as if I was making my best guess all along. I had lots of priority, a few delegation, few meds...found out today I passed! Try not to worry. There's nothing you can do to change it now, just wait 48 hours and know you did your best, and PRAY!
