I have taken the NCLEX twice and unfortunately failed both times. It is a little discouraging but I am determine to be an RN and really need some help.

I used Kaplan for its techniques and did a lot of testing. During the first two weeks of studying I did content review. I used reviews made by previous classmates who graduated the year before me who took Kaplan and used Saunders to make their study guide. On top of those I added additional notes on my own that I was taught through Kaplan. After doing my content review, I gradually progressed in the quantity of questions, adding more each time. I started with 75 a day for about 3 weeks, then 100 for a week, four days of 150 questions. I took my time remediating the questions I got right or wrong and took notes.

I tend to have a difficult time with being able to take tests overall and am not a good test taker. But I know that I could be if i put in the hard work. I also feel that I may have not studied the content well enough, being that I am unsure of what exactly should cover mainly.

I just wanted to know if anyone can help me. Does anyone have suggestions on how they studied in terms of techniques, studying schedule, as well as recommending what resources should I use to review content and practice tests?

I heard combining Hurst for Content and Kaplan for testing is good. But I've used the Kaplan question trainer tests twice already. Please help!!!

First, have you received and analyzed your candidate performance report? This can help you figure out what areas are your weaknesses and which are your strengths. Then, focus on your weaknesses but also review areas where you're strong prior to retaking again.
