Nclex RN RESULTS ON HOLD???????

I took my exam Oct 4 2014 (FL). I got up to 140 questions with my last question being a SATA. I am up to date on the recent PVT, so as I went to try it and I get the pop up saying my results are on hold?!!! the only thing I can think that was an issue is, that there was an issue with doing my hand scan/finger prints. I have been constantly checking and NOTHING has changed, I get the same pop up :(. has anyone else experienced this recently. I don't think I passed, I just want to know SOMETHING at least. this is torture!!!!!!!! Can anyone give me some insight? much appreciated!!

I'm on hold also. It's so scary! I don't think I passed. Most of my questions were SATA and they were soooooo freaking hard. The computer shut off at 85 questions and I wanted to cry when that happened... I wonder how long will take to find out.

I WROTE EXAM today 2015 12feb.i had 226 question and it took 5 hours .I did Pearson vue trick, it shows result on hold I wrote California board of registered nursing, please pray for me .I am so stressed

Would you please let me know according to your experience if my NCLEX result is on hold is this most likely pass or fail result?

Hi! I took the NCLEX-RN this past Wednesday. The same thing happened to me--- the palm machine was down when I finished so they could not scan me out. I tried the trick at 24 hours and got the on hold pop up. I am a nervous person by nature but i felt really good when the test ended at 75. Around 5:00 pm on Thursday I tried the trick again and got the good pop up. My quick results were available yesterday at 8 am and I passed!!! So the on hold pop up does not always mean something bad. It's just a neutral hold when they have to look further into it from what I've read. I hope it works out for you!

It's neither. It only indicates there was an incident (palm vein scan, check in-out, power issue, stood instead of raising hand or more serious such as cell phone use or suspicion of cheating). Holds average 24-72 hours. Results are not released to the BON nor are quick results available until the audit is complete.

There is no correlation between hold and pass/fail. Unless you cheated then the results are invalidated and the BON is notified take action.

Thank you for your support! I did stand up without permission when the test was over. I just was on my thoughts and I forgot to rise my hand. Do you think it is a big violation? I think after such a stressful test everyone can be confused. But it was not cheating just frustration. I am praying hoping for the better. Hope is the last thing that dies.:)

No. Standing up and using your cell phone would. Just be patient while the audit is complete. You aren't the only one too excited to raise their hand.

Again pass/fail has no correlation to hold status. Hold indicates QA review for test security. They want to ensure there was no funny business. QA/QC does not care if you passed or failed just that test security was ensured.
