Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello

I will be retaking the nclex-rn for the 4th time I have used saunders nclex kaplan etc. Any tips or notes anyone would like to share would greatly be appreciated. Thank you

can you give more detail about what you did the previous 3 times? How many hours you study a day? How many questions you did? Do you have a firm gasp of the content and understand how the body systems work? Did you read every single rationales after each question and write them down? Because that could be a way you develop your own notes, in your own wording to study on.

Try Uworld. You can purchase a month long access for $40+ i think. Look for the 1 week free trial link.

I used kaplan & Saunders too. But Uworld was really helpful esp with SATAs review. I purchased it a month before my test. It has an ios & android app. I do most of the qbank using my computer, suspend the test when i get tired & i can resume the test on my phone app.

Goodluck!

Hi. This site will not let me reply to your message so I will reply here. Also, if you haven't already, download and pay the $30 for the full version of the nclex mastery app and do at least 50-100 questions a day depending on how far away your test date is.The app has a lot to offer and is very customizable to your areas of weakness and strength. do not give up and remember to read each question on the test carefully, bit by bit, or even more than once if you need to. Content is important but really you just need to know the basics. Practice questions are key. Do as many as you physically can.

Hi AmberCain! Congrats on passing NCLEX.

Congrats on passing.

Hi AmberCain! Congrats on passing your NCLEX!

Waiting on ATT currently; doing practice questions from LaCharity, Saunders and anywhere else I can get my hands on. gPhdiK2ujRRlEAAAAASUVORK5CYII=

Try to really learn and master your material. I studied for one month with Uworld. It's like Kaplan but the rationales are way better and you get a lot of practice with SATA. I did 100 questions a day but spent a lot of time making sure I understood why I chose the write and wrong answer. 100 questions took me 5 to 6 hours a day to study. I used picmonic for my diseases like SIAH, Lupus, Meds... etc etc., and my saunders book was good for reading on the go. I did Kaplan my first 2 attempts and could not for the life of me hang on to the info they presented me, but Uworld was a lot better for me. I also tried NCLEX mastery and just found it too hard to understand. Also using Pharmacology Made Insanely Easy 4th ed. Edition also helped me grasp my material. Hope that helps!

Jacobs. It would not let me leave you a private message. Go ahead and email me at my email and ill help ya out with the Mark Review
