NCLEX-RN 2nd time around!

Published

Hello, I'm new here to this forum.

I recently graduated in September of this year. I took NCLEX on oct 25th and got 75 questions and failed... guess I bombed it huh? When I was taking it I felt like I was not surprised by the content in the questions. It also took me 2 hours to do 75 queations(no breaks). I wonder if I just dewled on them for too long... anyway I did the trick and got the bad pop up :/.

So the same day I rescheduled my boards!

The first time around I studied Uworld and looked over hurst review vids. That's about really all I did honestly...

but this time around I did the entire qbank of NCSBN and looked over some lessons. I've done over 400-500 Kaplan qbank questions so far and do 150 a day till test day.

And lacherity I'm almost done with the whole book. I have 5 pages of notes on stuff I didn't know/wouldn't remember. I have 30 slide cards I go over almost everyday. And re-read my notes since I add to them everyday. I have also used hurst again. Sorry this is so long...

my date is now fast aprouching next week! And I'm scared to fail again...

is what I've done enough? This is my dream, I wish I didn't fail.

What kinds of notes are you taking? Can you give an example of a situation or fact and what notes you jotted down for review and understanding of that situation or fact?

Oops! Just saw the date of your post and realized it may already be too late for suggestions. Good luck!
