Nclex RN january 2017

Published

This post is for all those who are taking their nclex rn in January. How are you guys with your review? What materials are you using? Let's encourage each other. Thanks

@breanalynn that's a good score. Stay positive & keep pushing out questions.

I took my predictor today and only got 87% it said very high but that seems really low to me.

That's a really really good score. You're on a really good track just remember you still need to review rationales and buckle down before the big day arrives.

Thank you! That is a great idea. What is the story with the white board. I haven't talked to many people about this. Can you write freely on this ?

I am using U world and I did all the questions and on kaplan but I still test horribly on SATA. I am doing my best to prepare and thats all I can do. SO???? did you get results?

I think I'm going to take a break from nclex questions for one day I'll jut read rationales....I feel burned out and I'm not answering my questions as effectively like I used to ...maybe I'm tired :writing: my brain is ready to explode and I feel like I'm jut glancing over things when I read...I'll get some more rest before getting back in the game

Anyone else feel kind of burned out from this studying? Lol

Im so horrible at SATA. I either miss one or put too many. I know they said treat it as a false -true option but it's still hard for me. I also try eliminating things I'm not sure of. I heard the NCLEX SATA were much more broad and easier than the ATI so idk.

I've felt that way many times but they say to keep answering questions. I can only advice what I've been told since I haven't taken it yet. A break is always good but it all depends when your test is. It's like running a marathon and your at the end of the race like mile 20 and you just want to quit but you keep going and the finish line is almost there. In running they call it the wall. I've found that if I keep answering questions even when I don't want to the information just starts to stick.

Yeah, I just keep doing a little content and questions and trying to tighten up on areas i am weak because idk what else to do to strengthen my SATA except for truly knowing content and throughly reading what it's asking. The probes is if I don't understand the question exactly, I don't know if it's true or false.

I think that seems like a good score too. I would be happy with that.

I def feel burnt out but I gotta push thru. I just finished my tutoring session. As far as the white board goes it helped me with the data cause I would use it to elimate the wrong answers like wit UWorld you put a line thru. All I can say is the more I practice sata the better I get @ em.

saldridge, ADNPrivate Tutor ? Oh okay. How strict are they with the white board? I heard you can't write down lab values etc? Like information you want to remember? I just want to be careful.
