Good pm everyone.
I am applying to take the NCLEX RN Illinois.
My Agency informed me that i am declared eligible by the BON to sit for the NCLEX RN exam since "September 2016."
My Question is, "How many months/years do i still have to prepare for the actual exam?"
When will my eligibility expire?
My agency keeps telling that it will expire this September 2017.(just 1 year from the date BON received my application). Is this true?
I just realized that am not ready yet at this time. I want to take in on 2018 if possible .
PLEASE Help.Am really nervous.
Thanks everyone.

It shouldn't take the rest of this year to study for the NCLEX. 3 months on average with daily studying should be enough time. Suggest checking out the NCLEX forum under the student tab
Thanks. I'm not ready because I am working at this time in the Middle East.
Do you think i should quit soon?
DOes the eligibility really expires in 1 year?
Thanks.

Yes eligibility really expires in a year. Some states it's only valid 6 months.
