I remember being in your shoes. I believe though that 8-9 times out of 10 if you are cut off at 75, it's a Pass.

Having results on hold basically means they have to make sure that all parts of your exam are valid... from start to finish. Once they know your exam is valid, then they'll release the score to the billing system that "runs" the PVT as well as any other entity that is entitled to the score, pass or fail. That includes their "Quick Results" system.

Here's the thing to remember: Results on hold will prevent you from registering for a new exam. It's NOT the good popup. You want "Delivery Successful" and no holds before you can even think about the PVT status.

@akulahawkRN,did they check validity for all candidates? or they checked if they have any doubt.....This is really very hard time,one of my friend she took exam today as well and her status is same like me,just wandering why it is happening only in New York State Board,thank you so much for your reply.

It's not only NY BoN. Many people are on hold. Some had issues with power glitches, some had palm scan issues, others have no idea why. If you stood up during the exam rather than raise your hand you will have results on hold until they audit your test. Results on hold have nothing to do with the BoN other than the results won't be released to the BoN until the hold is lifted. After 48 hrs you can call Pearson Vue and check the status of your hold....most HS are lifted before 48 hours.
