Nclex RN fail

So I took my Nclex yesterday after studying for 10 weeks doing Kaplan and a few Nclex books. I got 265 questions lots of SATA and I did the PVT and got the CC page so I know I failed. Now what to do feeling down. I thought I knew enough to pass. I am already a LPN. Now how do you pick you self up and start again....

Paid for the results and I failed. So back to studying Kaplan gave me 3 more months. And I am doing uworld this time also. I'm so discouraged right now

I too just recently failed! Don;t be discouraged. You completed school. You just have to get past this test. I was told by some others, wait until you get your report, see what the weak areas are, and go from there. Do you think it was content? I know if you got all the way to 265 you were teetering on the line, so you know your stuff! Don;t give up. You gotta get back on that horse and do it again. And personally, I'm doing mine in 45 days.

i am sorry you failed. I took my exam today at 2pm and i am just waiting. I used U world.. its very good. kaplan is ok.. i think they need to give better rationales

I'm gonna do Kaplan again. And I just subscribed to uworld. I will be taking it in 45 days. ASAP. Still feel bummed

So, you are relying on an unreliable trick as your go to info?? I so hope you come back with an I passed comment.

I wish people would stop listening to the nonsense of that "trick".

Start studying the part that you are weakest on. They send you a breakdown of what you need to focus on more. Don't give up! You can do this!

Hey Lisa, I'm actually using Kaplan too. Do you think it helps for the nclex at all?

I think it helps but you can't always do the decision try doesn't always work

I did Uworld and one content review. I focused much on Uworld rationales and i believed that definitely prepared me for Nclex. There's a 35 page review that has been circulating here and i heard that has helped a lot of people as well. Oh and lots of prayers! Good luck!

I too recently took the Nclex and failed. I am going to do the whole of Nclex Mastery qbank and finish with UOWRLD. If I have enough time, I will try NCSBN for questions only. Good luck to both of us. Am counting down the 45 days on my calendar daily. Am also an LPN and am gonna make sure I change those initial this year.
