I finally decided to make an account after coming to this site almost everyday, for the past several weeks, to research nursing topics. It has helped me greatly and Thank you all for you contributions!
I recently graduated from an ADN program and I am soooo happy and grateful that I was actually able to complete it because it was the MOST challenging experience I have EVER gone through in my entire life. I have to admit, it has been extremely hard to get back to the studying for the NCLEX. It's like my brain rejects the information every time I try to pick up a book and do questions... my brain says: "oh, no not you again." hahaha.... ugh! Never the less, I know I have to prepare for this beast which brings me to this post. I was thinking... Why not challenge some of you who plan on taking the NCLEX late? March/early April 2011? What do you guys think? Maybe we can message each other here by the end of the day and share whether or not you met your daily goal. For example, I have 2 books (lacharity and Davis Q&A) and I plan on doing 100-150 questions a day until my test date. Even if I do 20-25 in increments throughout the day, the point is to do them daily. Then I will come here and share how my day went. That way we can motivate each other through this excruciating journey.
Whaddayasay huh?!?.... I plan on starting this Sunday... Let me know if any of you guys are interested, I would love to motivate and be motivated by you guys... We need to get together and tame this beast! Lets do this!!!!
Good luck to everyone taking the test this week!! :) Sadly I had to reschedule my test again due to a toothache that lingered this past weekend. Was supposed to to take my test this morning, but schedule in two weeks. Send me positive thoughts as I go for the root canal procedure.
I will be keeping everyone in my prayers for the NCLEX this week!:):)

I know how you feel Katm0 this was my 3rd time rescheduling...lol I have to just go and get it over with. Worst thing that can happen is that I have to pay the $200 again. I will let you know everything tomorrow. My test is schedule for noon so I should be on here tomorrow evening, talk to you then.

This is my third time rescheduling this test date. But the root canal went okay, I have to visit the doc again because whatever the previous doc filled the gap inside the tooth with was not easy to grind through to clear out the filling material. Luckily, the doc was able to get to the infection and inject medicine into it. Now I'm going to take a nap.

just today, i got 75 questions, my 2nd question was SATA and so my last. got sata 3 in row, and two in a row. Lol , got only one hot spot. i do not have any calculations, but lots of prioritizations and medication side effects and nursing considerations.
its too bad that california does not participate in quick results, so i have to wait for two-5 days. please pray for me still.. i hope this is a good sign and i nailed it this time.
ann_08 - you're exam sounds just like mine, except I didnt get a hot spot but I did get a picture of some kind of skin disorder I had to identify. I am more than certain you did great!
