Last night, while I'm scanning some of my notes, I realized that I cannot absorb what I am reading anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this normal??
So far here are my scores in Kaplan QTrainer:
TEST 1: 77%
TEST 2: 72%
TEST 3: 69%
TEST 4: 67%
TEST 5: 67%
My scores are getting lower and lower!
I'm so tired already!!!
Reading and answering questions almost everyday and waiting for the date of my exam.
I'm so stressed out!!
Good luck!! Go take it you're ready. QT 1-2 easiest it is testing recall, knowledge, QT3 beginigns of harder level of thinking (comprehension) and longer test, QT 4,5,6,7 get progressivly harder as now they're asking do you know what to do with this info you're seeing and you predict complications and then how will you solve it. Bloom's taxonomy really. highest tier is QT6 and QT7 those are the exams and readiness exam that are strong predictors of you chances of passing nclex.
Your Kaplan Score 69% means you have a 98.30% chance of passing NCLEX. Here's the original link: nclex kaplan scores
jomayca89 hi, as i am new to this forum, i just registered and see your post so i liked to share something with you. I am foreign educated nurse and i am also taking my boards in 10 days, you know its my 3rd time how bad i am feeling noone can imagine, 1st time i study myself saunders 5th edition and failed............. second time i did kaplan course scored 75% in readiness test but also i failed,so i think its luck needed to pass this exam. anyway all the best, how do you prepare Pharm?
Hi! I'm also a foreign educated nurse and it will be my first time to take NCLEX. :)
I use Saunder's in studying pharma and La Charity for Prio and Delegation. I think you must add La Charity as one of your review materials.
I hope we can both pass NCLEX!! I know we can.
Why don't you take a break, go for a walk in the garden, and relax. You will be fine. Good luck.
Thank You ScrubRNwannabe! :heartbeat
I just took 1 day off and it helps me relax.
After reading this post. I would highly recommend you take two days off. One of the things people don't realize is anxiety plays a major role in your success when taking the exam. It has nothing to do with luck or "the good PC". It's confidence in oneself and the ability to apply knowledge. When I studied for my second time at the NCLEx. I scheduled days off. So for every 8 days I took one off. It really helps relax the brain and calm the soul. Being nervous doesn't help anyone. So do yourself a favor and take two days off and be amazed on how to you feel when you come back to the grind!
Thank you BlackMurse1 !!
I just took 1 day off because I'm afraid that I'll forget all the things that I've learned if I took more than 1 day to relax.
Don't get discouraged! When I hit the point you are at I took a break, (great advice from everyone), then, I personally just went back and went over the sections that I knew I was weak in. I was not at the top of my class but I passed both the pn and rn with minimum questions. Go with your gut. They don't pass many people through school who don't have the know-how and knowledge to pass. Deep breaths.
Congratulations!
I hope I can make it.

thank you for the information inori
i wish i did finish test 6 because at the time i start answering, i feel lazy and ended up reading the actual exam and rationale of the entire test 6.
I think its normal to feel that way. That is exactly how I felt. The night before the exam I spent 1 hour just skimming thru my Hurst folder. I just couldnt look at it anymore. I felt disgusted with everything. Some 4 days before the exam I stopped taking the practice exams because my scores were also getting lower and that was making my anxiety go thru the roof. You get to a point where you just cant take anything else in. Thats when u need to slow down and realize that by now you either know it or you dont and that will just have to do. You cant know it all...its just too much. So, hang in there...its almost over. Good luck to you!
Thank you Ryans1mom73!!!
Last night I cried because I'm very anxious and afraid to fail the exam.
