Which would you recommend, the Kaplan or the Saunders Book for reviewing for the NCLEX? Thanks.

I like Saunder's and Davis.

I recently passed using Saunders, so I suppose I have to recommend that one! Kaplan was good for me to look over, though (borrowed a friend's the night before the NCLEX!), just for the test-taking tips, not so much for content.

Thanks for the information.

Use both, borrow one and buy the other. But two references gives you a wider knowledge base.

Hello,

I primarily used Saunders for review and did over 4000 questions on CD only and I passed the exam May 2006, it shut off after 75 questions.

After taking the exam I took a look at the Kaplan book/CD and I found the questions to be closer to the style/format of the real NCLEX.

Not necesaarily, can also cause much more confusion.

I never recommend two different books. They are not references but should be giving you rationales in what the exam is looking for, that is how the books should be used.
