NCLEX review CD's that work for mac computers

Can someone please help me....I bought the brand new F.A. Davis NCLEX review book with CD that includes the new alternate item format questions that will be on the new NCLEX...unfortunately the CD accompanying it doesn't work with Mac computers. Any advice as to how to get this CD for Windows to work on a Mac? Or any other good review guides that include the new alternate item format, that will work on a Macintosh computer??? Help!!! I need to study!!!

i have a mac too... i'm not taking the nclex for another year (still in school), but i have noticed that the prentice hall reviews and rationales books work on a mac

-first make a new folder in your aps (title it whatever you want)

- when you put the cd in just copy all the files associated with the cd and paste them into the folder you created, then the program is in your computer and you don't need to take the cd with you (if you have a laptop)

that website has all the books they offer...they are only in categories, not a big all in one nclex review....but each chapter gives you 50 questions (10 pretest 30 test 10 post test)

this is the only one i know of so far that works on a mac...:'(

otherwise just use the computers at the library or something...

i bought the program parallels for my mac laptop and what it does is run windows on my mac. its about 80 bucks and you have to have a windows disk (one usually comes with new computers and laptops). I run my davis drug book off it and all other widows based programs that don't work on my mac and its great. i think its been well worth the investment. good luck!

I would suggest you invest in the program that scibruin talks about. It will have many uses in the future and would be worth the money.
