Hello there! I need information about the results of the NCLEX.
I took the NCLEX-RN at Manila on October 18, 2007 and I have not yet received my results.
It has been almost 8 weeks and most of the people I know who took the test on the same date already have their results. I called the California BRN and they said they sent the letter already but it has not arrived yet. They will not tell me whether I passed or not.
Are there any other RNs who took the exam on October 18, 2007 and have yet to receive their results too? If the letter got lost along the way, will they send me another one? I've been to the post office and spoke with my mailman, but he says he didn't receive anything from the CA-BRN yet. I feel like I've exhausted all my options.
I hope the moderators can give me advice. Does this happen often? Should I call the CA-BRN again? I also emailed them but I know it may take some time for them to reply.
Thanks!

As far As I'm concern you already did your part but you may want to call them up again or wait for the reply to your e-mail. Nothing left to do on their part and with yours. They already said that it was sent so nothing left to do but wait but I would recommend to request another one to be sent if you still have not received it by this month as it may have been lost or something.
Thanks.. this is somewhat reassuring... I believe that some of the delay may be caused by all the Christmas cards and letters and packages and things..
I just hope I get my results by Christmas..

Average wait time for Manila proper is four weeks, and then you need to add on to it if on other islands. All of the mail gets sent to Manila and then is sent on from there.
Mail does have a tendency to get lost on your side when sent from the US.
At this point in time, would wait until after the holidays and then contact them again to resend the letter. Makes no sense to do it now with all of the added mail in the system.
Best of luck on your results.
Thanks Suzanne... when I called CA BRN they said that they sent the letter on November 8, 2007. So I've been waiting close to 5 weeks. I'll take your advice and call again next year if my letter hasn't arrived yet.
Merry Christmas!

That time-frame is just about right. Expect it to arrive before Christmas.
Hello moderators and fellow members... Good news! I received my results yesterday, January 9 and I passed! For all those still waiting, just be patient, because your results will some soon. It was delayed because of the Christmas rush. My letter was actually sitting in the post office since December 2007, but wasn't delivered until January.
Thanks for the advice and the support!
