I am from Ohio and scheduled my NCLEX for July 3rd. Normally the OBN has results up the next day. Since the next day for me if 4th of July and the beginning of the weekend, does anyone know if that will delay my results?
Thanks!!

For it to be on the BON website there is usually someone inputting the data, if it is a public holiday then no one is there to input the data so may not be on the site until the day after

Lol, I was just wondering the same thing. I also take NCLEX-RN on July 3rd but I'm in Texas. Good luck to you and keep thinking positive thoughts.
Good luck to you as well!!

Yes, no one would be. working ont he 4th. Can you move it to the 2nd??? I would if I were you, as waiting that ONE night was pure torture for me. Worse than the night before the test. If I had to wait 4 days I think I would go crazy.

Sorry, but you have incorrect information. The average wait time for CA is still ten days, there are some that get their results earlier, but that is not the average time at all. And it can take up to a month to receive.
Anytime that there is a legal holiday right around the testing time, that also delays things as well, as the office is closed then, and sometimes for a long weekend as well, so that adds to the delay.
Just do not want you to focus on seeing your results in two to three days that week, more than likely is not going to happen. Remember that once the BRN receives your results, they are manually added to your file and then it is reviewed by a human. They are off on weekends and holidays.

OMG suzanne, thank you so much for telling me that...Everyone at my school that has taken it swears that they got their results in the BON website in 48 hours...I will feel better knowing that this isnt right...especially if Im taking it before a holiday...It just makes me mad that two of the kaplan instructors told me this and other students too...So once I take it there will be hope even if it isnt up...THANKS
You are quite welcome, and unfortunately, we seem to see this bad information given out by review centers quite a bit. This just proves that the instructors there do not always have the correct information.
Everything comes down to how fast the school actually got transcripts into the BRN, they will permit one to take the exam without having received the final documents provided that the students name is on a roster sent in by the school before they are even done with their program.
This is the reason that CA does not participate in Quick Results either.
Some programs do not even send in the transcripts until about 2 weeks after the students test, so two to three days is definitely not the average.
Best of luck to you as you wait for your results.

For International nurses from the Philippines how long would it take for the result to come out at BON? Does it come out there or do we have to wait for the snail mail? Do they send as well on email?
Could anyone show me how to check on BON site pls?
Thanks

Depends on which BON/BRN you applied to and whether they will issue a license or not. If they do not issue a license without a SSN then you will have to wait for snail mail for results. Which state have you applied to?
