NCLEX registration question

Hi guys, this is probably a dumb question, but I didnt get much help from my school. After I apply to whichever state im trying to get licensed in, do i have to register with pearson vue in order to be approved? I was going to wait until after the state had approved me and then register to test, because I plan on applying to two states (since one is going so slow) and whichever approves me first is where i will send my nclex scores. (hope that makes sense) thanks!

Your school sends your graduation paperwork to the the state BON. Which BON did you tell your school to send the paperwork to? How are you applying to two states? You register with Pearson Vue and when you get your ATT from the state, then schedule your test date. So, you spent the money to apply to both states and then let one expire?

I guess I made this confusing. I had applied to CA but it is taking forever, so I was hoping to apply to another state instead which I know processes the apps faster. I just realized that I cannot do that and would have to let one expire first. Yes I was willing to pay for both, but I guess I cannot do that. Just trying to find a way to test.

The school sends the paperwork to one state BON and then they send the ATT notice to Pearson. Applying to a second BON will not get you anywhere since the school needs to send the paperwork to the second BON which they will not do until the first one expires.

I did both the same day. I registered with Pearson Vue as well as doing all the paperwork for the State. We were actually told in school to register with Pearson Vue first then the State. Some did it that way, some did it the other way, some did it like me. We all got our ATT.
