Nclex 75 questions: Passed or failed?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I have taken NCLEX and a computer shut off at 75 questions. I feel horrible. How bad can one do not to pass with 75 questions? Does anyone know? I've been studying non-stop and tried to do my best. But I wasn't sure with some questions and took an educated guess.

I Took the nclex on july 8, 2009 and the pc shot down after #76. i didn'f feel too bad after walking out of the test center, but a few hours later it was agony. I felt like i was going crazy and that noone was feeling the way i was feeling until I came to this website and starting reading some of these comments. I must say i feel a whole lot better knowing that i'm not the only one to feel this way about the nclex. Anyway, in just a few hours i should find out if i pass. I can't wait.

Just found out I PASSED!!!! (75 q's) sworn I failed.. I am a B, C student throughout Nursing school..I know my stuff, I just dont have any test taking skills. So i studied my butt off for 2 months. I KNEW I HAD TO.

I did the Saunders CD questions and Hurst and now Im officially a :nurse: !

I literally just got home from the NCLEX...Got cut off at 75 too. I have a very high anxiety due to the lots of infection control and mental health with many "select all that apply". How good of an indicator is it that I got, what seemed like many, questions from the same category?!

I came online to see others input to try to calm my own nerves. Lots of what's been posted is relevant to me but Im still terrified for the results!!!!

Found out today that I passed with 75 questions! Like almost everyone, I was convinced I had failed when I finished. It was very difficult. A ton of SATA, priority, & infection control questions. Zero med math. So glad it's over! Good luck to everyone waiting for their results!!

Congratulations...I took it yesterday and it stopped at 75...freaking out waiting for the results....Hardest test of my life!

I had 75 and passed. I had 18 SATA, no math, a ton of priority and infection control.
