So, i took my NCLEX-PN at 8 am this morning. It shut off at 85. It took me a little over an hour. I only had 1 calculation (I&O), 5 SATA and lots of what pt would you assess 1st, 4-5 on precautions, and 2 about Orthodox jews!!! I did the PVT around noon and got the pop-up! Yay! I am not going to get really excited until i know for sure, but it did help me relax...a little!
I failed for the 3rd time. Its a sign for me that this career is not for me. Or either that the board control pearsonvue and it wont pass me since i came from another country and studied lpn in manila..i know some people here are againts lpn in manila. So i think board of nursing kinda have a control on this...well i hope you guys are happy..i am just here trying to better my life and nope this freaking exam wont pass me..thanks

Doing your training in another country isn't an issue as long as you meet state requirements and to get eligibility you will have met state requirements. I do think it is a shame if you give up but I do feel that you have rushed too quickly to resit the exam and have let nerves of the exam get to you. I really do suggest you take a break from studying and then decide on what you want to do.
Also want to add that there are not some people on here against LPN training in Manila what is the issue is many are doing the course believing it will help them immigrate to the US when it doesn't meet immigration requirements as requirements are RN not LPN.
I did not resit the exam quickly. I studied for three months, doing practice test 100 to 200 everyday. But when you get to the real exam, its different. All this Infection control, patient teaching, drugs..that you have never seen before ..I mean its really too far from the book or that Saunders. It didn't really help me at all. I went all the way to 205 and the computer wont stop til then. I know my content and i think I answered all the questions the best of my ability. It just the computer and the standard wont pass me. I bet i have above and near passing. the problem is they wont consider near passing..they want everything ABOVE.. I am not perfect ..you dont get all the questions perfect from the beginning. I just hope the Board consider near passing and not making it all ABOVE..even other Board exam you can pss with 75..but the nursing board want 95 percent..its Bull! Im sorry...NOW nothing...i have to consider other options to pass this exam..but right now..i GIVE UP
