2brichielpn08, I know it is so frustrating! I felt the same way after i failed the 1st time. Don't give up, you CAN do this! Just take a break, do something for yourself, and then change your study habits. All i used this last time was the exam cram cd and the lacharity book. I did 100 questions EVERY day. I used the CAT part on the CD and it really helped! The NCLEX sucks, it is sooo hard, i know this.

This was my second time taking it. Last time i had all 205 and it seemed waaay harder. This time it wasn't as bad. There were a few that i totally guessed on. 2 of my former classmates passed with 205 questions, so you never know!

So, i took my NCLEX-PN at 8 am this morning. It shut off at 85. It took me a little over an hour. I only had 1 calculation (I&O), 5 SATA and lots of what pt would you assess 1st, 4-5 on precautions, and 2 about Orthodox jews!!! I did the PVT around noon and got the pop-up! Yay! I am not going to get really excited until i know for sure, but it did help me relax...a little!

failed nclex-pn.. DEVASTATED
Don't beat yourself up. I took my NCLEX-PN a few months ago and failed with 205 questions. I was so upset. I couldn't even sleep for a week! I was an A student all through nursing school, i don't know what happened. All you can do is study, just try a different approach this time. I have been using exam cram and Mosbys. I am doing great in my review questions and tests. I take my test in less than 2 weeks. I had to wait 45 days, and that is the worst part, i just want to get it over with so i can get a good job! Good luck to you!

Got into Excelsior!
Doesn't everyone get in? I met with the rep a few months ago and he acted like everyone got in.

Is this school worht it???
This sounds like MedTech college. They are not accredited, that's why there isn't a wait list. If you don't want to wait, try the college network. I'm not sure of the web site just type in the college network into the google browser, and it will come up. This school is online, and accreditied. You take one course at a time, when you get done w/ the course you go to a testing site and take a test on that course and move on to the next. It shouldn't take more than 12-18 months to complete. You go out of state for a few days of clinical time and perform skills and someone checks you off. Anyway, i talked to a rep and he quoted me at 10,000. Which is not good, but better than 60,000. I have several friends in this program right now, and they love it!
