hey guys! i'm very new to this site and want to share my nclex experience. i just took the nclex pn on wednesday. i studied for a month, mainly did online saunders questions and ati questions about 200-300 questions a day. the day of the nclex i felt confident. i was usually an A/B student in nursing school and passed my comp pred with a 99% probability(which meant nothing to me on nclex day 3 months later).......after taking the nclex i didnt feel so good. my test shut off at 85 questions, i had about 40/50 sata, 5 meds questions, 2 drag and drop and a lot of prioritization. every sata i felt there was an answer or two where i was life "*** this could or could not be right?!!" i (just like everyone else who is waiting for results) am very anxious. i'm from california and i know its takes forever for results to process. but i can't relax til i actually see my results!!! does the pvt work??? i tried pvt and got the good pop up. i guess i'll wait patiently and if i do pass i'll update my post. i just need some positivity as i wait dying inside lol:cry:
Not sure I live in Ohio ....but I heard that after 6 total times they make you take a refresh course. Me I really really hope I pass this test soon . I am learning how to answers questions so now reviewing practice questions make more sense to me . I just want to force on the right review that will work to get the job done....good luck
This gives me hope haha I did the PVT too and got the good pop up I really hope that method works for me too because I want this so badly I have been studying since I finished December 20th 2014 and when I was in the program I went 3 days a week when I finished the program I was in the review class 5 days a week and I am in disbelief or shock I'm not sure which because it was so difficult I think I had atleast 20 select all that applied I tallied them on my erase board and forgot to count them all after a certain point it was weird every time I got a question that I knew I answered correctly I would get a select all that apply immediately after . And I got a lot of priority questions and diet and infection control . That test was definitely scary ! This wait is going to suck so bad !
I took my exam march 23rd 2015. i got 19 sata, 6 drag and drop, 1 ekg strip, 1 medication computation, 4 questions all about meds and the rest are multiple choice. do i feel confident after the exam?? hell no! i was freaking out and until now. its been exactly 3 weeks after the exam and i haven't received anything yet. i don't know if i did pretty good or really bad that my computer shut off at 85. although honestly i was really hoping it'll stop at 85 pass or fail, which it did. i did tried the PVT like others, and i got a good pop up, it took me up to credit card page, i put a wrong 3 digit code and wrong expiration date, and it said "our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam......" but of course i cant rely in just good pop up,.
like what everyone said. THE WAIT IS NO FUN at all!! ;(

Hello Everyone!
Just wanted to share an update on my journey. I took the NCLEX for the 3rd time today. Again i got 205 questions. I every single type of format for questions. I did my maximum best and now the rest is in God's hands.
Mark 11:24 " Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours."
I'm holding strong to my faith and believing whatever happens I know God won't let me down. I'm claiming my prayers and believing I passed. Although I feel anxious and nervous right now I know that God will give me good news to share wednesday. Nothing is impossible for Him!! I truly believe that!! Please remember me in your prayers!

Thanks for the advice! I will try the timer idea and also will try going to the library and studying.
I guess I'm putting myself down only because this is my second time failing and I really wasn't expecting for this to happen
I'm feeling better this morning, and I'm not giving up. I will definitely keep up on here and ask you questions if I have any, and I'll keep you updated.
One more question- is there a limit on how many times you can take it in a year? *Hoping though I will pass the 3rd time*
