hey guys! i'm very new to this site and want to share my nclex experience. i just took the nclex pn on wednesday. i studied for a month, mainly did online saunders questions and ati questions about 200-300 questions a day. the day of the nclex i felt confident. i was usually an A/B student in nursing school and passed my comp pred with a 99% probability(which meant nothing to me on nclex day 3 months later).......after taking the nclex i didnt feel so good. my test shut off at 85 questions, i had about 40/50 sata, 5 meds questions, 2 drag and drop and a lot of prioritization. every sata i felt there was an answer or two where i was life "*** this could or could not be right?!!" i (just like everyone else who is waiting for results) am very anxious. i'm from california and i know its takes forever for results to process. but i can't relax til i actually see my results!!! does the pvt work??? i tried pvt and got the good pop up. i guess i'll wait patiently and if i do pass i'll update my post. i just need some positivity as i wait dying inside lol:cry:
Thank you. The wait is so long. I still have 2 weeks to wait before 3 weeks. Lol. Oh well, congratulations. You said you did the PVT right?
yea i did the pvt. people told me it doesnt work anymore and you could still get charged if you tried it even though you passed. fortunately i didnt get charged and i dont care what people said that was my only hope and relief i got as i waited for my results lol

Thank you so much for responding. PVT is my only hope too as of the moment. I didn't get charged as well. Tried it a lot. Insanity I suppose. all the same thing and didn't get charged at all. Used my debit & credit cards. So, im still hoping they haven't changed the system yet.
I used practice ATI tests to prepare. I took as many of them as I could, and reviewed any areas I felt weak on. The actual NCLEX had the same types of questions, but the wording was different. That did take a little getting used to. I received my results on the Pearson site 48 hours after testing.
My experience was similar- I received 95 on comp predictor and earned A's and B's in my classes. I was really nervous on my NCLEX day. I also had about 4-5 medication questions, 2 drag & drop and a lot of educating questions. "What would you want to include in educating new nurses?" and SATA. Some of the questions I had were very challenging and some that were so simple I felt sure I was not doing well. I left feeling as though I had done my very best and was so relieved when i learned I had passed.
Good luck to you! I'm sure the waiting is so nerve wracking....Hang in there!
