Hi Everyone,
I read this site alot, I hardly ever post anything. I took the NCLEX PN on Feb 1st. I walked out of there feeling numb and got home thinking I failed. I feel like I was guessing at most of the questions, I can't even remember the questions. My computer shut off at 85 questions. Now I have to wait 3 more weeks because I live in Calif. This is TORTURE, I called the BON today and they said they were processing January 21 results. I really need to start working, my savings is running out.

hey girl. i just wanna let you know that im in the same boat with you. i took the test on feb. 4th and mine stopped at 85 as well. I'm also in california so i have to wait the 3-4 weeks. It is absolute torture, I feel like i failed because the easy questions i should have gotten right, I ended up getting wrong. Hmm.. since they're processing jan. 21st results when are they gonna get over to february?!? I'm going crazy just waiting and waiting. Did they tell you how long they think you'll have to wait for your results?? Eckkkkkk! all this waiting sucks!!! But hopefully we both passed! Keep us posted!!

Hang in there, guys! Let us know when you find out.
I'm going to call the board again every week to find out what day their on in processing the results. Will let u know. Everyone keeps telling me that the odds are better if it stopped at 85 questions, but I felt like I was quessing at alot of the answers, which dosen't make me feel any better. I have a job waiting for me at 25 dollars an hours, but I have to pass this stupid test first. I don't want to call them and tell them I took the boards yet, because if I didn't pass I don't want to tell them I didn't pass.

I say this with empathy, sympathy and respect for you and your position. If you can, relax and breath. Worrying about whether you passed or not is not going to change the outcome. If you passed, you are simply wasting time and energy. If you failed, the energy you are putting into worrying, you could better use by studying. And if you are considering going on for your RN, even if you pass, you will need that study time. Go back over your normal lab values and what highs or lows may indicate. Go back over medications. Just don't beat yourself up wondering. Chances are, you passed with flying colours. Breath!:wink2:

I Took My Test Today And It Cut Off At 85 Q. I Feel Like I Failed Because There Was A Lot I Did Not Know. Seven People From My Class Took It And They All Passed. They All Had 85 Questions And One Had 150 And The Other 93 But They All Passed. I Just Have A Bad Feeling. I Will Pay To Get Results Tomorrow. I Was A "B" Student And Everyone Said I Should Have Done Well.

Ooops, sorry, didn't mean to post twice.
I'm in California too, and I took the test on Jan. 31. Is there room in the boat for me? The more time goes by, the more I'm convinced there's no way I could have passed. BTW, I too had 85 questions.
For what it's worth, it's a little bit easier knowing that I'm not alone on this journey... not that I'd wish this on anyone!
Good luck, everyone! Breathing is a very good idea.
Guys,
Keep in mind that the NCLEX is designed so that both passers and failers answer 50% of their questions correctly. Just because it feels like you performed poorly, that's not a sign of a failing result.
