Nclex Pn

Published

Hi Everyone,

I read this site alot, I hardly ever post anything. I took the NCLEX PN on Feb 1st. I walked out of there feeling numb and got home thinking I failed. I feel like I was guessing at most of the questions, I can't even remember the questions. My computer shut off at 85 questions. Now I have to wait 3 more weeks because I live in Calif. This is TORTURE, I called the BON today and they said they were processing January 21 results. I really need to start working, my savings is running out.

:o

anyone could tell me what books they have studied from and have passed?

thank you

Guys,

Keep in mind that the NCLEX is designed so that both passers and failers answer 50% of their questions correctly. Just because it feels like you performed poorly, that's not a sign of a failing result.

Thanks for your support

I used saunders, ati books, online free sites and A chicago review book even though I am in Ohio

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

If the BON participates in quick results then you can pay to get your results early. If they don't then you have to wait for something to show on BON website or letter

I'm going to call the board again every week to find out what day their on in processing the results. Will let u know. Everyone keeps telling me that the odds are better if it stopped at 85 questions, but I felt like I was quessing at alot of the answers, which dosen't make me feel any better. I have a job waiting for me at 25 dollars an hours, but I have to pass this stupid test first. I don't want to call them and tell them I took the boards yet, because if I didn't pass I don't want to tell them I didn't pass.

Well I called the BON yesterday and they told me they were processing results for Jan 21st, thats what they told me last Friday. I don't know what to think now.

anyone could tell me what books they have studied from and have passed?

thank you

Saunders. I highly recommend Saunders and I thought the questions on the NCLEX were like questions on Saunders.

I passed with 85 questions.
