Check your board of nursing website, they are the agency that grants you a license, not Pearson Vue. How long it takes depends on the state, California seems to be the one that takes the longest, weeks to contact people.
You can always call your board of nursing directly and ask what might be holding it up. I have no idea what Huhuhu means :)
still dont have the result. Its been three weeks already. Is it really that long waiting?? Help please

Are you in California? If so, continue to wait patiently. The California BVNPT still operates by way of snail mail.
If you are not in California, check the board of nursing website to see if an LPN license number is next to your name.

A week or two after the BVNPT staff cashes the check, your LVN license number will be listed on the BVNPT's website. Your hard copy license will arrive much later.
Thanks for the info. Do you think PVt trick is okay to try. Im foreign graduate btw. í ½í¸€

Personally? No. If people would just relax after playing the Trick and they weren't out any money then sure. But this forum is chock full of people who do the PVT over and over and over again and are still freakishly anxious so why bother?
The PVT is a game, it is not results. If you do it with expired card or wrong expiration date or anything that isn't correct you risk getting a Card Declined message whether you passed or failed, you might have failed and it tried to take your payment or you might have passed and the card was just tested and found invalid. If you use a valid card and payment goes through that usually means you failed and had to pay for another exam anyway. But if you passed (very slim chance if you pay $) then you're out the funds.
Up to you if you do it, but I'm going to take a solid guess that even if you do you are still going to be anxious and uncertain, like everyone else who does it. Good luck!

Evening, Colleen:
As you've probably figured out by now, the ways of the BVNPT are strange. From what you've described, it sounds like you're applying for licensure by endorsement, which takes quite a bit longer than an initial application after completion of a state-approved VN program. Figure on a minimum of another 3 weeks before you get a response.
While you can try the PVT (and after 3 weeks PearsonVUE has had ample time to cross-load your test data, regrade & ship the results off to the BVNPT so you're much more likely to get an accurate response) in reality all it will tell you is whether you passed the test or not. It's still going to take awhile longer to get what you actually need, which is the pass/fail letter.
TL;DR - If you're feeling impatient, call the BVNPT and ask them. Plan on being on hold for an hour or two.
----- Dave (who's also waiting patiently for the BVNPT to give him a pass/fail letter)
