Hello everyone, I'm new to the board and I am glad I found it. It is such a blessing to see people encouraging each other as they venture on to take their boards. I am scheduled to take mine on October 11 at 10 AM. I have already been doing some of the things that are recommended by some of you. I have the Saunders, Lippincott and Delmar CD's that I have been practicing on daily though I have to admit I really like the saunders better and I also have a 3 week online membership at learningext.com that I have been practicing daily for the last couple of days. My strategy is to continue this up till my time to take the test and PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!!!! I believe I will have a NCLEX testimony just like alot of you.
I'm so happy:rotfl: for all who have passed their boards, it's such a milestone!

:balloons: Hello and Welcome to Allnurses.com:balloons:
We wish you all the luck in the world. I know you will do just fine.
Thankyou so much Siri for your encouragement, I'm taking all the encouragement I can get.:)
I've noticed while doing my practice test on Learningext.com that when it shows me the rationale it also shows the source of where they got the question and alot of them comes from Saunders. Has anyone else noticed that?
It seems that alot more people that post on this board are passing than failing their boards, which is a very good thing.
Lets keep up the encouragement and excitement everyone!

BlessedByGod, Welcome to Allnurses, this is your place we are your friends. I have been reading your reply posts and seeing how encouraging you are to everyone, I am impressed.
I have a good feeling that you will do well. Thank you for congratulating me on my recent success. As far as you are concerned I am praying for you and will remember you in a special way on 10/11, yes I will PRAY and PRAY on your behalf. Do not give up no matter how difficult those questions present. Now remember, you will feel like you have failed after the test just like the rest of us, so practice your therapeutic coping skills :wink2: . Also remember that I RAN OUT OF TIME at 249 and still passed. I wish you Blessings.
queen mother, the new RN.
ps. I found out that when a candidate runs out of time the computer looks at the last 60 questions and if above passing the candidate passes and vice versa then fails. found this info in the Saunders RN.
Queen Mother, thank you so much for that encouragement it was needed and well taken. I was wondering why hardly no one was responding to my post, but God continues to show me that he does care about the small things.
I wish you much success and only the best in your career.:wink2:

You'll be taking your NCLEX-PN in a few hours! Good luck!
I'm sending well wishes & prayers your way.
Thank so much fun2care! Well, I just came back and I think the computer shut off at 105. I was about 21/2 hours into the test and the computer passed 85:uhoh3: all I could think about was God please let the computer shut off before I run out of time.
I guess I was thinking I would feel better if the computer shut off rather than I ran out of time. I didn't get any math, or alternate format type questions. I really can't even remember what the computer was asking me, lol. I did get alot of priority questions and those that asked what statement by client says they understand the teaching given.
I've read the priority questions are high points questions, so that's good, and as you know, the number of questions doesn't mean anything. :)
Let us know when you find out!!! I bet you did great!
