I took my NCLEX today and was shocked at how many SATA questions that I had on my test. My test shut off at 85 questions and so far, I have the good pop up on Pearson Vue. I left the testing site feeling good but now I'm starting to worry. I know the Pearson trick shouldn't be trusted until 24hrs after. Is it true that the more SATA questions, the better?
The day before I took my NCLEX, I went to my Saunders question bank and got through about 70 of them, and I got less than half of them right. For me, it seemed like the NCLEX ones weren't as hard. My NCLEX seemed to have a pattern - when I knew I answered a question correct, it would go to a SATA and stay at those until I got it wrong, then it would go to a put in order question, and if I got that wrong, it would go back to the multiple choice. This pattern seemed to repeat to the point where I kind of knew what my next question type would be.
How do you practice for these SATA questions?!!! can anyone give me some tips?? I always get them wrong!!
