Nclex PN made incredibly easy book by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins

Published

What do you guys think of this book for nclex pn?

Is it ok if I get half questions right and half of them wrong for each chapter? What do I do if I get questions wrong ? after reading the rationales? Is this book harder than the real nclex pn?

Any other Tips or advice? Words of. Wisdom? Lol.

LOL. I would suggest you to used the Saunders Comprehensive Review book and CD. The book you mentioned is good but somewhat easy in my opinion

Specializes in Pediatrics, Emergency, Trauma.

Incredibly Easy is really a quick review of concepts; I used Saunders for my PN.

There's ExamCRAM, Kaplan and NCSBN (the makers of NCLEX); try these sources .

Also, a good reminder about NCLEX is to understand what the question is asking you; get familiar with the categories of being an entry level, competent licensed nurse; remember safety effective care, psychological and physiological integrity, health promotion. Choose the BEST answer; reviews questions and rationales.

When reviewing questions, the higher the percentage of questions you answer correctly increased your chances in passing the boards; usually close to and above 70 percentile in all areas determines a high probability of readiness and passing the NCLEX

I've heard wonderful things about that book for the RN, but I'm not sure if the same holds true for the PN. I think Saunders has to much fluff. The exam cram for PN is a wonderful resource, I would spend the money for it for sure! Everyone ik in my class used that book and passed and we all thought it was very helpful.

Saunders is for the questions, not a study source; not every source you use is for content review, more for preparation/question review.

I used saunders for q's didnt read the comprehensive book just keep answering q's and make sure to read every rationales.goodluck
