I taken the nclex pn this Thursday I'm so nervously excited!!! Someone that's taken it can you tell me.. Is it mostly basic safety and who you would see first?!

Just remember NCLEX is all about keeping the patient safe. I would also suggest know your lab values. Take your time. All the best to you! You can do it!

I agree... I took it in April and passed with 85 questions, under 1 hour... take your time.. know your labs, high and low, know your meds, side effect and why it is given, know safety and isolation, know who you can delegate to.
Every test is different.. I had NO math, no psy, or X marks the box. I had a lot of SATA, exibits about meds, pt dx and which med to stop or start based on info given, about 10 isolation question and a few pedi question..
I did 205 question a day for 4 days prior to my exam... Good luck.
Oh thank you guys so much for the tips! To study I did the hurst live review, then the online access they give you, Saunders nclex PN examination flash cards (on a box from barns and noble), Saunders comprehensive review book and CD!
