NCLEX pass rates for your school?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I went to an information seminar on the Nursing Program at my school and the information was something.....scary,lol. The NCLEX pass rate for the program I am applying for is 97.8 %!! It's higher than the state average and even national..........I am glad it is high, but I am also scared about the program......it must be difficult to be so high. How bout everyone elses schools?

Hi everyone. I am an RN working on my BSN I am doing a clinical in a high school nurses office and working with them to plan a career day. I have been looking online for a few hours trying to find one place in NJ that lists the schools with their NCLEX pass rate and graduation rate there is nothing out there and it is too big of a job to just go through each school since on the school web pages it is not clearly indicated where to find the info.

any ideas out there?

thanks!

Lincoln Tech in CT is 100% passing rate. I think that could be because the program started out with 55+ students and we now have 15 remaining from our original class.

For those who have taken the NCLEX-RN, what books were most helpful?

Does anyone know how I can find the NCLEX passing rates for Sacramento State?

Thanks. How did you find the statistics to that "iceyspots?" And do you know about how many people attempted and passed?

I am applying for Purdue Calumet in Indiana and their 2007 pass rate was 100%. Their nursing program is very competitive!

:heartbeatHi, my name Kai Hawkins and I'm a new member of ALLNURSES. I have been working in health care for 18 years. I am awaiting notification of my acceptance into the Nursing program @ LAHC in Wilminton, Ca. I come from a family of teachers, a family of "Excellent Educators" and my attitude is a little different about education. I'd like to be a nurse educator in the end of my nursing career. I believe learning is the teachers' responsibilty. At this level of education one has typically chosen their career goals (having been accepted into the nursing program). The student has taken the initiative in being there, now it is Nursing programs' duty to prepare the nursing students for the NCLEX-RN. It is the teachers' job to teach, that means being aware of your students' learning styles as well being able to deliver the material in a way that the students will understand. It takes a gifted teacher to be an "Excellent Educator" and not every teacher is an "Excellent Educator". I believe excellent educators have this same indentity with education therefore, I totally rely on the schools' pass rates. I believe their nursing instructors have done their jobs. LAHC's pass rate is 94% last I checked, it may have changed since then. (Dec 2008) Wish me luck everybody:heartbeat

Sorry if I'm repeating this question, but I can't find an answer. How do I find out the NCLEX pass rates for all Ohio nursing schools?

Look under the Nursing education NCLEX stats here http://www.nursing.ohio.gov/education.htm, initially lists states and International and then looks to list schools

I agree with you, regarding this being a very high pass rate. Unfortunately I cannot answer the question. I would like to know where do we find the standards for the pass rates for ADN programs?
