I was just wondering.....if you take your NCLEX is there any correlation between passing and failing and your GN status being removed off the BON. I heard that it is removed off the BON website pretty quick, but I didn't know if it did that either way. My friend took the NCLEX today and her GN is gone from the BON. She isn't home yet to do the PVT.
Thanks

I think this would be very dependent on the state. My graduate nurse "license" was never even processed before I got my RN license (two months after graduation and sending in the paperwork for my GN.). So there was no info online to remove. FWIW, I love on NY.
I wanted to add two things- I'm pretty sure they Didn't process a single GN form for anyone in my class- they just cashed our checks and tossed the paperwork aside. Also, no GN status in this state if you fail NCLEX, which I surmise is true for most states, and you probably already know that.
Ok thanks. We are in Texas. It listed us as GN's the same day we got our ATT from Pearsonvue. I checked her status right after she finished and it was there, but now it is gone.

I'd be curious to know this as well. Ours were also posted the same day we got our ATT. I take Nclex next Tuesday so we shall see!
Ok one of my friend's GN is gone and she is getting the good popup, the other's is still showing her GN and she is ALSO getting the good popup. So, not sure if the GN removal is really an indicator. We will see when they get the official results. I will be sure to post back here. I don't take mine until June 18th. It seems so far away, I feel like I should have scheduled it sooner?!
Ok I guess there is no truth to this. Friend #1, cut off at 75, good pop up and GN status stayed=passed the NCLEX officially. Friend #2, cut off at 115, good pop up, GN status was gone=passed the NCLEX officially.
Yea! They both passed.

I did mine on Saturday and my GN status is gone today, Monday, at noon. My friends who took it days before me got their unofficial pass and their GN statuses are still active or was verified on BON as RNs. The ones who failed are also taken off
Last night I checked and mine was still there... maybe this is an indicator I failed. But paying $8 to know I failed officially is a bummer. Surprisingly, I have patience to wait six weeks.
