NCLEX October 2017

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello fellow NCLEX takers ... I wanted to start a chat for everyone taking the NCLEX in October ... let's motivate each other. When you need a pick me upper let's check up on each other. What are you using to prepare for the NCLEX? What date in October are you taking the NCLEX? Are you taking NCLEX PN or NCLEX RN?

I'll start with me. My name is Nadia and I'll be taking the NCLEX PN on October 13th. This will be my fourth time to take the NCLEX ... the last time I took the NCLEX was in 2008. I had to take a required refresher course in Florida in order to be eligible to sit for the exam again ... I did that and also did clinical which I absolutely love because I didn't get the same experience when I was in school. I have been using Saunders, just recently completed the Hurst Live Review (which I absolutely loved) and I will be purchasing U World. I've learned so much in the past year and so motivated to start my career. I do work a full time and I am a Team Lead so I have a hectic day almost every singe day. I have no choice but to make time when I get off to study from 7pm until I get tired and that may be 11 pm or 12 am. If I'm too tired to look at the computer then I'll plug in my headset and listed to the Hurst audio and put it in my long term memory as they call it lol. Hoping to hear from others as I love reading this forum getting different ideas from other fellow nclex takers.

You can do this me just recently passing nclex pn after my fourth time taking it on 8/23 being out of school for two years you can most definitely do this. My content study base was the Saunders book edition 6 read that from front to back did all the questions and I also used uworld for about two weeks before my test which is the closest thing to nclex and also pray a lot lol. Also if you can purchase Regina remar quick facts book the best $25 spent on amazon

Congrats! I have Saunders 7th ed. After failing my first try, I'm back to basics. I'm almost halfway done with the book but I'm focusing on Maternity and Less. I first started using Uworld. I do Lipoincott questions on the go and so far I did 3 chapters from LaCharity. I hoping I can nail this test my second try.

I just graduated about 3 months ago. I study by doing questions about 50-100 a day. Then I read rationales and read my notes. I study everyday but sometimes I don't due to work.

Thank you for asking. The weather is wet here lol. It's raining.

Hi, I'm from Miami but I currently reside in GA but once I get my license I'll be moving to Florida but not sure if I'm going to Miami or applying somewhere else in Florida. And yes you will pass ;)
