Hello,
We were told in school that in the new NCLEX all the math calculations would tell you which place they wanted you to round the numbers. Is this true?
I am doing Kaplan Qbanks, and I get the calculations correct, but I get the answer wrong because i usually include one "place" too many.
Thank you for the help.

:) Hi!
Yep you are correct! It will tell you what place decimal they want you to round to. For example, after your calculation your number is 0.85 and they want you to round to the 1st decimal place, you would write 0.9 in the answer space. HTH! Good luck to you!

NCLEX tells you how far they want you to round your answer to.
Thank you!
Hehe I can round, just some of the Kaplan Q questions are not consistent even when it's asking for the same kind of value. You all cheered me up! Test Date August 2nd! :)

I found the same problem with Kaplan questions. It did not indicate what rounding they wanted, and I would get the answer wrong because I didn't round correctly.
I had only 1 math question on the exam. It was so easy you didn't need a calculator, and it did specify the units it wanted the answer to be in.
Good luck!!
I moved my test to tomorrow. Wish me good luck and pray for a focused, anxiety free mind. :) hehe
