HI,I'm new to this site and I would like some help.I finished my LVN class back in December, and I have taken the NCLEX twice now and I cannot seem to pass it.
I recently signed up to take a prep class in Sacramento and it got canceled. Now I need to find a new one. My dad realy wants me to take the class. The problem I have is I live in Northern California... I mean NORTHERN and the only classes I can find are in LA thats a good 12 hour drive from my house.
I dont know why I cant pass my test. I work as a CNA and a local nursing home and all the nurses there are relly helpful and give me little quizes. I do good on those. I even work as an MA when the doctor is there. I dont know why I cant pass. could some one help me, or give me what ever kind of advise PLEASE
Helene Feuer Nursing Review sells CDs and tapes for NCLEX-PN/RN as well as for pharmacology. It may be a bit expensive, but you have the option to listening again and again at the pace that makes you comfortable. Go to your browser and type in Helene Feuer Nursing Review and see their web site. Good luck!

Hey i know how you feeel!! We are on the same boat. i have failed it twice also. some people told me to do a refresher course or a review but some has adviced me to not waste my time and money. others just adviced me to do more practice questions and concentrate on the content i did horrible on. well my strategy right now is to just review using Saunders over again and saunders only. im afraid to use any other books, because i dont want to be going back and forth switching books. It seems like Saunders has more success stories than any other study material. btw im using saunders comprehensive.. i wish you luck and remember you are definately not aloneee!!
Thank you for getting back with me. Has anyone used the Kaplan review course online? I think I will be ok. There is a program at San Francisco community college through the vocational jewish services that offers a classroom style semester long intense review. For people that need a lot of review this my be helpful.
I've finished my PN class and i'm trying to pass the Board test and i am struggling. I've tried the live course of Feur nursing but it doesnt seem to be helping me. I live in Boston, MA. i need help and i've tried the board test three times already.
I moved this thread to the NCLEX Forum since once you have graduated, you are no longer a student.
Siuggest that you have a good read on the NCLEX Forum, there are many good tips there for you on what to do to prepare.
Best of luck on your exam.
