  1. Hey i know how you feeel!! We are on the same boat. i have failed it twice also. some people told me to do a refresher course or a review but some has adviced me to not waste my time and money. others just adviced me to do more practice questions and concentrate on the content i did horrible on. well my strategy right now is to just review using Saunders over again and saunders only. im afraid to use any other books, because i dont want to be going back and forth switching books. It seems like Saunders has more success stories than any other study material. btw im using saunders comprehensive.. i wish you luck and remember you are definately not aloneee!!
  2. I know for my state which is NJ, if you failed the 3rd time you have to do certain amount of hours for a refresher course to retest a 4th time. hopefully this will be my 3rd and final nclex.
  3. I failed the test twice and this would be my third time taking it. I was wondering if i have to do the whole process over again like it would be my first time applying to take the test. The whole process meaning paying for the licensing fee and application fee which adds up to to $195.00 and also getting a background check. I know the second time around i only had to pay for pearsonvue and send the application back again. It stated on the application that IT WAS A RETEST. but this time around it didnt say anything. Its been over a year since i graduated, i graduated JANUARY of 06'. I took the nclex for the first time JUNE '06 and the second time March '07. Why the big gaps? because i had given birth to a beautiful baby girl ..I would like to attempt to take the test again but im not too sure what to do with the application. Anyone out there know? i know i should just call the BON for my state but it just keeps on ringin no one answers. i left a message but they havent gotten back to me yet. I just want to be off to a jump start already so i can schedule for retest! Thanks in advance..
